The Pompei & Company stained glass studio was founded by JosephPompei in 1979. Joseph s joined by his wife, Ivy Pompei, as a fulltimepartner in 1981. After being located in Medford MA for 32 years, thePompei studio moved to Western Avenue Studios, now the largestartists ‘colony of its kind in the United States

Over the past 40 years, Pompei & Company has gained areputation among architects, interior designers , builders andhomeowners as one of the East Coast’s premiere suppliers ofArchitectural Art Glass.

Inspired by the timeless simple beauty of the art glass windows ofFrank Lloyd Wright and the Praire School architects, Joseph Pompeihas drawn upon his 40 years experience as an stained glass artisan tocreate this series of custom limited edition stained glass windows whichcapture the essence of the mission style, and incorporate Pompei's unique stylistic thumbprint.

Each piece is custom fabricated in our Massachusetts studio ,signed and dated by Joseph Pompei, and made to order taking intoaccount your size, color and privacy needs.

Price is a function of two factors - size, which is computed in square feet, and design detail.Additionally, we discount based upon the number of panels you order. To compute your cost,take the height and width of your window. Find the price table which corresponds to the pricegroup of the design you are pricing. Then simply match the height and width of your window tothe appropriate chart.

Example: To price the Wainwright House design in a size of 14-1/2” x 42-3/8” usePrice Table A. The width of 14-1/2” inches is greater than the 12 “ table, so refer tothe next highest column , 18”. The Ordering Process

Throughout the order process, you will work directly with Joseph Pompei who will assist you in deter-mining a design direction along with the selection glass colors and textures.

Here’s how the process works:

• Contact Joseph Pompei via email ([email protected]) or call us at 781-395-8867 to initiate adiscussion about your project. You will discuss your goals, design themes, color pallete privacyrequirements and budget.

• After determining a design direction, you will be provided with a accurate price quote, including crating& shipping charges along with an estimated timetable for delivery.

• If you decide to proceed with the commission, you will be asked to provide a design deposit of 20% ofyour total order.

• After receipt of design deposit, a colorized design proof , with a glass color key, will be prepared andeither emailed or sent to you via the US Postal Service.

• Upon the final approval of your design and selection of your glass, you will be asked to approve thedesign by signing off and returning the design to Pompei & Company, along with the balance of a 50%fabrication deposit.

• You will be notified when your commission has been completed and ready to ship, and be given thechoice of paying the balance due C.O.D. or by prepaying with a bank check, VISA or Mastercard.

• Finally, in order to assure that your commission arrives safely, we build a museum quality customcrate for each shipment, and will include any special installation and maintenance instructions .

Typically there is no charge for shipping within the continental US. Certain orders. However,because of unusual sizing or high dollar value, may be assessed a partal shipping charge. In theunlikely event that your order might require a shipping fee, you will notified before you place yourorder.

Large quanitity orders may need to be shipped via common carrier truck. If common carriershipped there is a $150.00 delivery charge if you want your windows delivered to your job site orhome. There is no extra charge if you pick up at the freight terminal.

In order to afford maximum shipping protection, your art glass is crated in a wood box equipped withrope handles for easy and safe handling. Each panel is wrapped in bubble wrap and surroundedwith one inch styrofoam resulting in zero shipping damage over the past 18 months.

Boxing charge is based upon size and quantity:

1-3 panels sized up to 42” w or 42” h is $65.00; 4-6 panels $110.00; + 5 panels is quoted 1-3 panels sized over 42” w or 42” h is $85.00; 4-6 panels $145.00; + 5 panels is quoted

After placing your order and before we begin fabricating your commission, we will send youa colorized scaled design proof along with a set of glass samples for you to review andmake any adjustments or changes in design or glass selection.

Should your color palette include colors or textures other than those depicted below, youalways have the option of specifying custom coloring basis. There is a no additionalcharge for most other glass selections.
