The Lord's Prayer:

1. Hallowing His Almighty Name

a. The Name that takes care of the problem of sin: Jehovah M'kaddesh

(The Lord our Sanctifier who is like a refiner's fire and like launderers'

soap); Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord Our Righteousness)

b. The Name that covers our spirituality: Jehovah Shalom (Our Peace);

Jehovah Shammah (The Ever-Present One)

c. The Name that guarantees our success: Jehovah Rohi (our Shepherd

who guides and leads us); Jehovah Jireh (Our Provider: God will

provide for Himself a lamb for a burnt offering)

d. The Name that guarantees our soundness in body: Jehovah Ropheka

/ Rapha: By whose stripes we are healed.

e. The Name that guarantees our security: Jehovah Nissi (Our Banner);

Jehovah Rohi (Our Shepherd who guides and leads us)

2. The Establishment of His Kingdom as we declare:

a. Kingdom of God, come

b. Will of God, be done

3. Provision of our daily bread

a. Hearing from God for our daily work, life and ministry

b. Enjoying the providence of His favour, loving kindness and tender

mercies

c. Guarantee of his providence in the natural – so that His people will know

no lack (The Lord will give grace and glory. No good thing will He

withhold from those who walk uprightly)

4. Forgiveness

As recipients of God's mercy, we are enjoined to:

a. Be merciful to others

b. Forgive all who have offended us

c. Ensure that there is no bitterness, hatred and unforgiveness in our midst

d. Love the brethren & even those who despitefully use us (Matt. 5:42-43)

Dearly Beloved,

I greet you all in the name of our Lord.

The season of Lent affords Christians, the world over the opportunity to engage in prayer and fasting, corporately, as it were. We all recall that following the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Christ, God entered into a new indissoluble and irrevocable covenant with His people – the New Creation species – ratified through the precious blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. The reality of this indissoluble and irrevocable covenant is what unites Churches the world over, especially in our recognition of the Lenten season.

The importance of prayer, particularly in the House on The Rock cannot be overemphasized as it will be presumptuous of us to assume we can go further in the purposes, plan and power of God Almighty without prayer. It will equally be foolhardy to presume the divine protection of all the accomplishments of God’s grace on this Ministry without prayer.

As we know from Scripture, when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, He provided them with a template for prayer which is known as “The Lord’s prayer”. It is to this prayer, at this special time of corporate prayer and fasting as a Ministry, that I hereby direct our focus.

5. Deliverance from all evil

a. We shall not fall prey to satanic devices, booby traps and pitfalls.

We shall enjoy God's deliverance from fiery furnaces, Joseph-like Pits,

false accusations and lions' dens.

b. We will be divinely armored and shielded

6. The Power, The Kingdom and the Glory belong to God

a. While we stand in awe of God's infinite power, we remain eternally

grateful to our Father for selecting us to be a part of His kingdom. We

are amazed that God is so mindful of us He chose to make us partakers

of His power and glory.

It is from this perspective that I pray for everyone under the cover of this house, declaring that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ shall release the grace of prayer upon you. I pray that you may have strength to pray and attain consistent victory in prayer which will ultimately result in sustained victory in life, knowing that He who called you is faithful and will perfect all that which concerns you. Amen.

PRAYER FOR HOUSE ON THE ROCK

With thanksgiving in our heart, let us express aloud our appreciation of God's abundant blessings and enduring mercy bestowed upon our great nation, Nigeria. Thank God for His sustaining grace that has preserved our nation through past trials.

1 Corinthians 1:4I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus

Psalms 124:2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, When men rose up against us.

Thank God for disappointing every expectation of the enemy concerning our nation and for protecting her territorial integrity and sovereignty. Vehemently insist that only the full counsel of God's will for our nation will be fullled.

Ephesians 1:11In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will

Daniel 4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and God doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Contend through prayer and enforce by faith, the great and precious promises of God concerning Nigeria, declaring that our great nation abounds in righteousness, peace and prosperity.

Ask God to raise a new generation of visionary leaders with capacity and competence, who will steer the nation back on track and chart the course for a better future.

DAY ONE PRAYER FOR THE NATION

Pray that Nigeria remains one indivisible nation under God, progressively becoming all that God ordained, as she takes on her leadership role of leading the African States to a place of global reckoning and recognition in the comity of nations.

Genesis 27:29Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!

Genesis 49:8Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father's children shall bow down before you.

Declare that Nigeria is the cradle of Africa's greatest leadership potential and possibilities. Insist that Nigeria remains at the vanguard of the continents transformation.

Genesis 49:20Bread from Asher shall be rich, And he shall yield royal dainties.

Micah 5:2But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel.

Annihilate and exterminate every covert operation of the enemy to subjugate, subvert lives and violate human rights in every part of our nation through the invasive activities of unruly marauders. Declare supernatural intervention, angelic assistance and deliverance for all those targeted by these evil forces.

Uproot, dismantle and destroy all agents and agencies, systems, structures, institutions and networks that work assiduously through nefarious personalities and organizations against the peace, unity, and development of our great nation, Nigeria. Replace them with godly persons and institutions as well as advisers who will give wise counsel to foster peace, unity, progress, righteousness, justice and equity for all the citizens of Nigeria.

2Corinthina 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

We uproot, obliterate and prohibit the expression of all radical ideologies that seek to propagate religious bigotry, intolerance, unfairness and repression in our government and institutions. We dismantle all such radical ideologies and instruct the earth to reject all the propagators of these evil doctrines.

Matthew 15:13 But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

2Corinthina 4:4, 10:3-5 Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For though we walk in the esh, we do not war according to the esh. DAY THREE PRAYER FOR THE NATION

Come against every law, codication, legislative policy and separatist reform in our Nation's constitution that's intended to foster sectarianism, undemocratic electoral processes, suppress basic human rights and freedom. Overrule and overwrite any such legislation with strategic and favorable laws that will enable healthy national co-existence and development in all the states of the federation.

Daniel 7:25-27 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time. But the court shall be seated, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and destroy it forever. Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.

Hosea 8:4They set up kings, but not by Me; They made princes, but I did not acknowledge them. From their silver and gold They made idols for themselves-That they might be cut off.

Declare that the word of God nds free course and is magnied in the affairs of our nation and its government, granting the present leadership wisdom to promulgate and implement viable, innovative and lasting solutions to the present political conundrum and economic downturn. Declare that by wisdom, God delivers our nation into a better future.

Pray for strategic economic and infrastructural development, as well as sustained growth of the manufacturing sector leading to increased production of best-in-class goods, services and sustainable business opportunities across all sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Isaiah 61:4And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

Pray that this year, Nigeria will engage in viable economic projects and strategically enable the growth of SMEs, Information Technology driven commerce as well as innovative trade and export businesses that will increase our national GDP and foster widespread employment. Declare that there will be equity and devolution of power resulting in progressive change in every geo-political zone of the Nation.

Isaiah 61:4And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations

Declare that Nigeria prospers despite the prevalent global economic downturn. Declare that the value of our currency, the Naira, appreciates against the stronger international currencies to open up greater investment and employment opportunities which will enhance the nation's economic gains.

Psalms 118:25 Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.

Genesis 41:54, 57 And the seven years of famine began to come, as Joseph had said. The

famine was in all lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was bread. So all countries came to Joseph in Egypt to buy grain, because the famine was severe in all lands.

Pray that the spirit of wisdom and great counsel inhabits the heart and minds of our leaders and all those in authority, causing them to take decisions and enact policies which will be equitable and benecial to the citizenry. In Jesus name, AMEN!

1 Timothy 2:1-2Pray for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

Exodus 35:31 And He has lled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship.

Ask that God bestows on our leaders of industry the inspiration for strategic concepts, creative and innovative thinking to enable them wield a strong inuence on and bring about a turnaround in our economy.

Exodus 35:31 He has lled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker, in blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and ne linen, and of the weaver-those who do every work and those who design artistic works.

We pray for our President, your servant Muhammadu Buhari; our Vice President, your son Yemi Osinbajo; our Senate President, your servant Bukola Saraki; our Speaker House of Representatives, your son Yakubu Dogara; the Chief Justice of the Federation, your servant Mahmud Mohammed as well as all the state and local government leadership. We pray that they all be endowed with wisdom and strength to lead the nation in peace and in righteousness. Preserve their lives and rejuvenate their health. In Jesus Name, AMEN!

We pray for our dear Governor, your servant Akinwunmi Ambode, members of his cabinet and every other arm of the State government. We request that God grants each of them wisdom, supernatural assistance, good health, long life with divine direction and grace to lead the people

Psalms 78:72 So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

1 Kings 3:9Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?

Declare that every system, institution or personality that seeks to propagate evil be uprooted out of Lagos state.

By faith, call forth from among us, great leaders and thinkers, great administrators, great preachers and teachers who will selessly serve God's purpose for the Ministry. .

Exodus 18:21Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fties, and rulers of tens.

Pray that every tier of leadership in House On The Rock will receive clarity and understanding of the vision of the Set man to run effectively with his rhythm for the execution of the vision.

Numbers 11:17Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.

Insist that the manifold wisdom of God be evident in the many expressions of House On The Rock, being the voice of excellence, the hand of power and the bridge of hope.

Ephesians 3:10To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.

Thank God for His exceeding grace clearly demonstrated in House On The Rock over the last two decades. Thank God for the remarkable exploits and impact of its commission in communities and governments across various nations.

Pray that every Service and event of House On The Rock manifests the attendant blessing of God's power and presence, an atmosphere of excellence, glory and worship leading to total transformation.

Matthew 18:20For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

Acts 4:31And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all lled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness

Insist that House On The Rock remains at the cutting-edge of ministry, relevant to God's agenda. Declare that our legacy is preserved through many generations, with God being the inspiration through all spheres of the Ministry.

Declare salvation for our loved ones, fruitfulness for the barren, promotion on the job, progress and increase in all areas of life.

Acts 16:31So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.

Exodus 23:25-26So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulll the number of your days.

We declare that we and our families are for signs and wonders through many generations.

Joshua 24:15cBut as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Genesis 17:7And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you

As concerns Pastor Paul, thank God for a ceaseless ow of fresh oil, renewed strength, vigor and vitality with increasing joy, divine health and abundant grace, as he carries out the work of the ministry.

2Corinthians 4:16Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

Enforce the promise of divine protection over our children, declaring that they are kept, preserved and protected from accidents and negative incidents. Our children be constantly delivered from negative inuences and peer pressure.

Psalms 91:11-12For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

2 Thessalonians 3:3But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

Declare over your life and family the grace to remain in prayer and attain consistent victory in prayer so as to reign in life.

Romans 5:17For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Pray that the Spirit of wisdom, counsel, understanding, knowledge and excellence rests upon all our students in their academic pursuits; like Daniel and the four Hebrew boys, they excel in all aspects.

Isaiah 11:2The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Daniel 1:17, 19-20As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams… And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, which the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Philippians 4:19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Pray that Pastor Paul and his family be delivered from unreasonable men and every conspiracy of the enemy. Declare that they walk in total victory.

2 Thessalonians 3:2–3And that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Thank God for hearing and answering all our prayers, petitions, supplication and intercession in this season of PUSH. Thank God in advance for inexplicable harvest of answers through the Name of His holy Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN!

1John 5:14-15Now this is the condence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Romans 15:13May the God of hope ll you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

As a Nation builder and a transformation agent, ask that Pastor Paul be enriched with all grace, all knowledge and wisdom, as he ministers in various capacities.

Ephesians 6:19-20and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Pray for greater manifestations of God and greater impact of His word in and through the life and ministry of Pastor Paul; more favorable doors of opportunity be granted him and exceeding grace for the next level of the Work.

Colossians 4:3Meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains.

Acts 20:27For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.

Thank God for an abundant supply of all the desires and needs of our Senior Pastor and his family, that as partakers of the divine nature they lack no good thing.
