Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saterday 1 Birthday: Abel Mulenga Masaiti : Admin and Transport 3 Pray for Gert as he visits King’s Highway Rest Camp at Okahandja to help the staff to maintain a high standard and to encourage them. Ask God to bless the King’s High- way Guesthouses. Please continue to promote the King’s Highway Guesthouses. 4 Moses, Regina and their children will soon move from Zambia to Malawi to establish our training centre near Living- stonia at Lake Malawi. This is a big challenge for them. There is no house available, they have to find a teacher to teach their children and they have to find their feet in a new community. 5 Thank the Lord for the benefactors who have invested in the Malawi Training Centre. God used these men and women to put a fence around our land, to lay the foundation for the initial buildings. They are investing their talents, their energy, and their money to prepare the way for us to move in. We need your prayers to prepare the hearts of the peo- ple for the gospel. 6 Let’s join forces with the organisers of Turn Back to God Prayer Initiative as many Chris- tians assemble at the Union Building today to dedicate our leaders to God. Pray according to 2 Chron. 7:14 -15 and call out to God to have mercy on us. 8 A Canadian group blessed us with a visit. They were in- volved in the needlework pro- ject with the women at Masaiti, they lent a helping hand with the building project at Kotini Eden and they encouraged and spoiled us in so many ways. Thank the Lord for their com- mitment and their eagerness to be part of spreading the Good News in Zambia. 9 A group of farmers from Clanwilliam committed them- selves to be involved in a vege- table project at Kalungu to help feed the hungry, to put food on the table of the staff and to supply for the markets in the vicinity. Ask God to lead them as they meet today to plan strategically. 10 Two years ago Joseph from Kalungu’s son died unexpectedly. The Lord blessed them a few weeks ago with a baby girl. Re- joice with Joseph and his family as they continue diligently to serve God no matter what the cost. Pray that God will provide for him and his family and that God will protect them. 11 Pray for the Missionaries in Training at Masaiti. Many of these youngsters dedicated their lives to God and are now trained in a cross-cultural situa- tion to prepare them for full- time service. Ask God to let them see the world as He sees it and that they will understand His heart for the lost and the nations. 12 Malaria is a reality at our training centres. During this rainy season many of our staff and children suffered from this disease. Please continue to pray that God will protect us against this illness. 13 Pray for Yvette Maloney and her team who administer the health services at Masaiti. We want to expand the health work. Pray for dedicated and well-trained staff to help us in this field. Taking care of the sick opens many opportunities to testify – ask God to prepare the hearts for the seeds that we sow. 14 Birthday: Jesaja Strumpfke Kotini Eden Zambia : Agricul- ture 15 Jesaja got engaged to Melinda Bothma one of our teacher students. Pray for their relationship and that God will prepare them as a couple for the ministry. 16 Pray for the married cou- ples in FCE. Living in such close communities where pri- vacy is a luxury can at times put stress on our family life and marriages. In our teachings we put much emphasis on God’s perspective on marriages and healthy family lives and we need at all times to be an exam- ple of what we teach. 19 At the end of last year we asked you to pray for an assis- tant for the Biltong Shop be- cause Raymond resigned due to some health problems. Praise the Lord that he is back at the Biltong Shop in Somerset West and continue to serve with a smile. 21 Pray for Neels and Anita as they fly to South East Asia to meet with people who needs training. Pray that God will lead them to the right places and the right contacts. Pray against the enemy’s plan to hijack the plans God has with FCE in these areas. 22 The CTC school is in the process of registering as a pri- vate school. The inspectors came to inspect everything during the last term. Praise God that everything went well. Please pray for the final ar- rangements for the school to be registered as soon as possible. 23 Many parents of the chil- dren in the CTC do not under- stand the necessity of educa- tion. Pray for the parents, and the problems of alcohol abuse, divorce, traditions and witch- craft. These cause children to experience conflict between God’s love at school and spiri- tual problems at home. 24 Every Wednesday the children of Masaiti and some of their teachers reach out to the villages in the vicinity. They play with the children, visit with the old people and testify about the love of Jesus. Ask the Lord to use these oppor- tunities to break the bondage of Satan over the lives of the people who are still in darkness. 25 We are conducting the Amos Marriage Counselling Course in some of the villages. Pray that the couples will attend it, especially the husbands. Trust the Holy Spirit to reveal to them the importance of healthy marriages and the resto- ration of family values. 26 Pray for the lecturers and students at the Teacher Train- ing College. Many of the stu- dents have to trust the Lord for the finances for their studies. Ask God to teach them faith and to teach them trust and obedience. 27 Pray for the work at the head quarters in Wolseley. Thank the Lord for the people in the office who network with the different training centres and with co-workers and who coordinate the work world- wide. Pray for Elma, Dirk and Mia who minister at the local schools and old age home. 28 Ask God to protect the seed of the Gospel that we sow while we work in our different departments. Ask God to give us His love and understanding for people in cultures that are different from ours. Pray that God will keep us faithful in building his Kingdom. 29 Pray for Neels and Anita in South East Asia. This visit will have a major influence on the work of FCE in this area. The discussions are very sensitive and they do need wisdom and to hear God’s voice clearly. 30 Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send in harvesters. We are in need of administra- tors and secretaries in the office in Masaiti and in the College. We need teachers to teach in our schools, we need commu- nity workers to toil in the vil- lages and we need people to invest in our ministry. March 2010 2 Ask God to protect Neels, Carel, Gert and the team as they travel in the Land Rover from Zambia via Namibia to Wolseley. Pray for God’s fa- vour on them as they cross the borders. 7 FCE Day of Fasting and Prayer. Ask God to give us His passion for lost souls and make us a shining light for the Nations. 17 We invite you to THE ART EXHIBITION at the King’s High- way Guesthouse in Somerset West from 17 – 21 March. 15 Quinan Road West Ridge Somerset West.
