1st Timothy 6:12 – A good fight is a fight that we win
Your Family is in the Balance - We must become
GUARDIANS for our families! (Nehemiah 4:14)
Satan is attacking our homes each day through social media,
ungodly influence, attacking our resources – What are you
doing about it!
Your Friends are in the Balance – Pray ye for one

What Are You Fighting For?
Nehemiah 4:14 - And I looked, and rose up, and said
unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of
the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the
Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your
brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your
wives, and your houses.

God is guaranteeing that if you use
His weapons, you will win. They are

BLOW IT UP!
Prayer Ammo
To Fight and Win Decisively in Battle, Every Fighting
Unit needs bullets, food, and fuel to sustain oneself
in battle
The Word of God serves as ammo and food to the believer

• Many Christians are like “Barney Fife” a character from the “Andy Griffith Show,” a long time ago. He portrayed the Deputy Sheriff of Mayberry who was allowed only one bullet for his gun
• The reason why some can’t pray long and proper is because they have NO AMMO or Word in their spirit. They can’t be trusted even with one bullet in their gun because they are unskilled in the Word of God.
Prayer Ammo – Fuel (Power) of the
Spirit
Without the power of the Holy Spirit active in our lives, we
cannot pray effectively (Romans 8:26,27 & Jude 1:20) – We
Need Power to Pray
Rear Support – In war, those who are fighting on the front line
need rear support to sustain themselves in battle (i.e. supply,
admin, food, etc.)
Intercessors act as our rear support providing prayer support to sustain
spiritual leaders and to provide spiritual covering for the saints
In battle when requesting artillery fire, people need to know where you
are in order to best support you.
That means that there should a bit of transparency in our Christian walk
so that others can pray for us and be available to minister to us
spiritually, emotionally, and physically

Who’s Fighting For You?
Exodus 14:14 - The Lord will fight for you, and you
shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
Deuteronomy 3:22 - Ye shall not fear them: for the
LORD your God he shall fight for you.
2nd Chronicles 20:14-19

God Will Fight For You
God assured Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel that He
would fight for them
He said the enemy would come and that we would have to
stand against them – Yet he ensured He would be with
them
Our response should be worship and praise

Scripture
Isaiah 49:25 - But thus saith the LORD, Even the
captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and
the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I
will contend with him that contendeth with thee,
and I will save thy children.

Allowing God to Fight For You
Position yourself – In prayer, before the Lord
Stand still – Cease all unnecessary movement and
activities
Watch the Lord’s victory – Praise Him in Advance
for What God is doing and about to do

God Won’t Quit On You!
God Will Not Throw in the Towel On You
Throwing in the towel is, in boxing terms, an
acknowledgement of defeat. When a boxer is too beat up to
continue, his coach throws a towel into the ring to signal that the
fight is over.

• You don’t have to struggle in this fight alone. for God will bring in a help meet; one called alongside to help you - the Holy Spirit to help you fight this fight.
• When you are too overwhelmed, God will say, Step aside and let me fight for you.
Pass the Banner – Teaching Others to
War
2 Timothy 2:2 - And the things that thou hast heard
of me among many witnesses, the same commit
thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.
Your salvation experience is not just for you alone.
Find someone that you can speak favorably in their
lives

Scripture
Luke 22:31,32:
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon,
behold, Satan hath desired to have
you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that
thy faith fail not: and when thou art
converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Satan Seeks to Sift All of Us
To “Sift” means an inward agitation to try one's faith to the
verge of overthrowing them
Christ says to Peter that Satan desires to sift him; to place trials
and temptations before him; “to agitate him” to see whether
anything of faith would remain
So many of us are being shifted daily and feel that we are all
alone and powerless, even afraid to share with another
Discouragement can result from different scenarios, but Satan
is the instigator. He will do anything he can to dishearten us
and keep our focus on negative things instead of on God.

But I have prayed for thee
Jesus prayed for Peter – Satan wanted to do more to Peter,
but he couldn’t because we have a praying Savior. He ever
liveth to make intercessions for us today (Hebrews 7:25)
That your faith should not fail: Peter’s faith would falter but
not fail. As believers, pastors, our faith may falter, but God
will see us through until Victory is achieved if we faint not
When you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.
The one who returns or endures after faltering isn’t encouraged
to become self-focused - but they should reach out and
strengthen the brethren. 9/20/2015 copyright@PLM TEACHINGS

Scripture
2nd Chronicles 20: 14-19:
Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel,
the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the
LORD in the midst of the congregation; 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah,
and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the
LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great
multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 16 To morrow go ye down
against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them
at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need
to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of
the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to
morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 18 And
Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and
the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the
Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. 9/20/2015 copyright@PLM TEACHINGS

Scriptures
also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as
we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with
groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the
hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He
intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
