AUGUST 2430

PRAY FOR OUR CFBC FAMILY1. Pray that God continues to grant His favor on the Legacy Project and uses the church expansion and chapel as a means to reach our community for Christ in ways we have never seen before.

HebHebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

22. Pray that God uses our church to grow and prepare His people to serve Him in our homes, and our jobs, and our schools.

2 Peter 3:18: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

3. 3. Pray the Great Commission will be fulfilled as missionaries grow out of our church to reach the lost in our community, nation, and world.

AActs 13:47: For this is what the Lord has commanded us, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

PRAY FOR REVIVAL, SPIRITUAL AWAKENING AND OUR NATION

1. 1. Ask God to forgive our nation for rampant evil, for shedding innocent blood, and for the hate and greed that pervades our culture. Ask God to raise up leaders at all levels that will follow His law and walk justly, righteously, and uprightly.

Isaiah Isaiah 33:15-16: “He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressors, who shakes his hands lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights, his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks, his brbread will be given him, his water will be sure.

2. Pray that the enemy will be muted and that hearts will understand that they are separated from God by their sin, and that Jesus is the path to salvation.

John 14:6: Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

3. Pray that God’s people will be freed from the desire to hold on to parts of this world and allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify them and move them ever closer to God’s glory.

2 2 Timothy 2:21: Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

KIDS MINISTRY1. 1. Pray for our Kids and their families as school schedules look very different. Parents are trying to figure out how to plan schedules around work, school, virtual learning, and the possibility of schools closing due to Covid concerns. Anxiety for parents and children will be on the rise. Pray that God would bring them peace and clarity.

““Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” - 1Peter 5:7

2. Pray for our Kid's Ministry team (Staff and Volunteers) as we seek and make plans to effectively minister to kids and families in an uncertain season.

For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlighenlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might. -Ephesians 1:15-19

PRESCHOOL MINISTRY1. Pray for our preschoolers as they adjust to going back to church and school and the separation anxiety from being away from parents and siblings. Pray for peace and comfort for the parents as well.

"So do "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

22. Pray that our preschoolers will be able to remain calm at church and focus on God's Word being taught to them. Pray that they will grow in their knowledge of Him and how much He truly loves them."but Jesus said, "but Jesus said, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14
