1. Missions: Please pray for Tami Zacharias, SEC "Missionary Connection" assignment, serving in Ontario with Operation Mobilization: 'You Prayed. God answered. Renew: Last time I mentioned I had been appointed Editor of OM International’s new Leadership Journal named Renew, and asked you to pray for it to encourage and equip OM leaders. The first edition with the theme of trust was released in February at the International Leaders' Meetings (ILM) in Bangkok, Thailand. I was so encouraged to hear rave reviews! Here’s my favourite piece of feedback, which shows a clear answer to your prayers: “Thanks for this document. This comes with some very important and deep answers that we all sometimes have about leadership. We will be using this document for our leadership development in Pakistan as we are preparing new leaders and wanting to see them growing.” – a leader in Pakistan. Prayer & Praise: Praise for how God is using Renew, the new leadership journal, to encourage & equip OM leaders; Pray for the folks preparing to join OM long-term; Pray for God to strengthen me and help me trust him; Pray for more to join my support team for $25, $50, or $100/month.'

3. Illness: -Pray for Verna Froese, recovering from knee surgery. Pray for increased mobility and patience while she works toward that. -Pray for healing of a burst blood vessel in Garth Loeppky's eye. -Tina Fehr now needs to have another ct scan, this time with a scope into her lungs. The first scan showed a partially collapsed left lung and a blockage, likely linked to the COPD & her fall. Please pray for the new scan to happen soon and for healing. -Pray for Anna Doell who has been struggling with various health concerns. -Pray for Susan Harder, dealing with various health concerns.

Summer Break: There will be no Sunday School from June 11 to September 3. Our worship service will continue with a 10:30AM start time.

June 21: The fence behind the Admin building is being removed on Wednesday, June 21 @ 6PM (or as soon as you can). Please call Steve Regehr with your commitment to help before June 18th: 306-370-5969. Ten guys are needed to commit to the job so we can make it a quick removal. If you know of someone that would like the material, have them come by on June 21.

July 7-9: The Gathering, in Winnipeg. Gathering 2017 is about celebrating God’s goodness across the EMMC family of churches. Come join in worship, learning & interaction. Mark Clark, pastor at Village Church in BC, is the guest speaker and will focus on the theme “20/20 A Clear Vision of the Gospel” in his Friday evening, Saturday morning & Saturday evening presentations. Register your entire family by June 15 at www.emmc.ca. Check out the list of workshops available for Saturday.

August 20: Region 1 Joint Worship Service @ VCA. All the churches will be joining together for the morning worship service and a noon meal. Each church is asked to provide one couple or two individuals to be part of a food committee to plan the lunch. If you would be willing to help in this way, please contact the church office. (There will be no service @ SEC that Sunday.)
