Prayers David White is undergoing more tests on his knee to determine the course of treatment. Gay Fowler, former member, is showing improvement. Melissa Pentecost’s father, Gene Waldrop, has been diagnosed with stage 1 bile duct cancer and has been referred to a specialist for surgery in June. Danny Walker is improving after returning to the hospital due to infection. Mandy Smith, former member, needs prayers of encouragement as her cancer progresses.

Leading Worship! Today’s worship is being led by several college students from Freed-Hardeman University. Nolan Huber is our speaker and Landon Moore is leading us in worship.

Senior Sunday - May 15 Next Sunday we will recognize our High School seniors during Sunday morning class time in the auditorium. The seniors are: Andy Steele, Gabriel Ervin, Audrey Davis, Avery Roland, Jasmin Holt, Tommaso Alboni, and Nhu Pham.

Important: If you are the parent of a senior and have not contacted Sam Wylie concerning a time to record their blessing for Senior Sunday, please do so as soon as possible.

Please Note: All Adult and Teen Classes will meet in the auditorium for the Senior Sunday presentation. All Children’s classes will meet as usual.

Baby Boy Shower All ladies are invited to a baby boy shower for Ashley Brown on Sunday, May 15, from 2 to 4 pm at the home of Kristin McAfee, 8 Charleston Square, Jackson. The Brown’s are registered at Target and Mags & Lulu's.

Birth Choice Baby Bottles! Each year, Birth Choice has an event called, “Change for Life”. Baby bottles are distributed Mother’s Day and returned Father’s Day. It is easy to do! Pick up a baby bottle in the church lobby today Place your name on the clipboard provided (to know who has bottles) Fill the bottle with change or write a check to ‘Birth Choice’ Return the bottle on Father’s Day

This is a simple way to protect the lives of unborn children and help mothers learn about Jesus. All money raised during this time goes to help fund the Birth Choice Resources Center.

Thank You! Dear Skyline Family, Thank you so much for all the prayers you have sent to our Heavenly Father on my behalf. This GI surgery, we pray, is now over. May the Lord provide just what I need to recover completely from this lengthy disorder. The visits from the elders and members have helped to brighten our spirits during some difficult hours of hospitalization. You are precious to us!

Soup Kitchen Help Needed! Wanda Hayes needs an individual or individuals willing to work with her on Tuesday nights at the RIFA soup kitchen during the months of June and July. A list is on the Member’s Corner with dates.

The Holton’s Are Moving! Kyle and Rachel Holton’s last day to be part of Skyline will be May 15. They will be moving the next week to Louisiana where Kyle has taken a job as a full-time youth minister at Forsythe Church of Christ in Monroe. To help with their moving expenses, a Money tree will be available next Sunday in the church lobby for you to put ‘leaves of green’ on it.
