These will be short, interactive and fun lessons for children who want to brush up on their basic phonetics

sounds and/or children who are new to the English language. All the basic sounds, how to blend them and

diagraphs will be reviewed on the Interactive Smart Board.

Pre-school Mental Maths Club (matematica in testa) - Ms Laura

Participants: Open to Y1 – Y4 (min. No. 3, max No. 15)

Duration: 0,20 minutes 2 times a week

Timetable: Tuesday and Thursday, from 08.20 till 08.40 a.m.


These will be short, interactive, fast and fun lessons for children who want to brush up on their basic Maths

skills. The lessons will include mental Maths as well as work on the Interactive Smart Board. Throughout the

year a variety of Maths areas will be covered ranging from addition and subtraction to shapes and graphs. This normally consists of writing and comprehension exercises and mathematic work. We are there to provide the children with:

Children regularly question what is happening in the world. This class aims to explain world events, such as

war, elections and space, to pupils in a fun, interesting and easy to understand language. There will also be



a focus on using higher level words. Map skills and Geographical knowledge will also be sharpened. Some

topics will be debated amongst children. Science Club (scienze) – Mr Peter FULL Participants: Open to Y4 - Y8 (min. No. 8, max No.10) Duration: 1 hour a week (from 16.00 till 17.00)

Timetable: Thursday Annual cost Euros 450.00 During Science Club we will be doing lots of experiments to discover the world of Science. We will be using all the equipment in the Science laboratory, from microscopes to electronic relays, it will be a fun occasion to explore and discover new paths in all aspects of Science.
