1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 COMPANY PROFILE

Raigad Petroleum was promoted by Mr Ashokkumar Goenka, Mr. Gopal Mittal & Mr. Lalit Goenka.

The manufacturing facility was commissioned in August 2000 and commercial production

commenced in 2000. Initially Raigad Petroleum was manufacturing Aroma Chemicals and as

market scenario changed Raigad Petroleum switched over to Job work of Aroma Chemicals of

M/s. Privi Organics Ltd. Ever since the beginning, Raigad Petroleum has been gradually increasing

its manufacturing capacity and the range of products from Batch process to continuous process.

Raigad Petroleum Limited manufacturing Methyl Pentenone, Distillation of Aroma chemicals etc as

Raw Material of M/s. Privi Organics Ltd speciality chemicals chemistry. The plant is having capacity

of 2520 tonnes per annum. The company now on growth as M/s. Privi Organics Ltd giving

opportunity to develop in all ways. At the time of establishment of the existing unit in the year 2000,

Environmental Clearance was not pre-requisite for manufacturing of 210 MT/M Aroma chemicals.

Hence Consent to Operate (CTO) was obtained from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board for

establishment & operation of the plant.

1.2 OUR VISION

To increase production capacity.

1.3 OUR MISSION

To be the best by giving only the best!

At any given moment, we are self-assured and prepared to provide quality products by adopting

safe and healthy practices in procuring, preparing and presenting our products.

2.0 MARKET ANALYSIS

We are doing 100% Job work of M/s. Privi Organics Ltd.

3.0 BENEFITS OF PROJECT

The Project will create direct & indirect employment opportunities within the

surrounding region. The Unit will use good faith efforts to employ local people from

the nearby villages depending upon the availability of skilled & un-skilled man-

power surrounding the project site. In operation phase, the proposed project

would require significant workforce of non-technical and technical persons.

Migration of highly education and skilled experience will result in increase of

literacy in the surrounding villages. The revenue generated will also promote CSR

activities.

4.0 PROJECT LOCATION

The Plant is located at plot no. L-35, Additional MIDC Mahad, Taluka- Mahad, Dist.

Raigad, State-Maharashtra. The Total Plot area of the site is 12180.0 sq m. The

environmental setting around the site is given in Table-1 and the Google image of

project site is shown as Figure 1.

13. Rain Water Harvesting

In order to allow percolation of rainwater into the ground, rainwater harvesting

structures along the boundary of the project has been proposed. Harvested water

will be collected in underground tanks of 200 KL. The stored water shall be used for

firefighting as well process.

Run off from the proposed project site is calculated using rational formula:

Q= C x I X A

Q = Run-off in m3

A = Catchment Area (ha)

/hr

C = Coefficient of Run-off

I = intensity of Rainfall in mm/hr

14. GREEN BELT DEVELOPMENT

Unit has already developed greenbelt area in 178.48 sq. m and proposed 198.97

sq.m area within plant premises. There are shrubs and trees developed in the

greenbelt area. Suitable plant species of local varieties will be planted with

adequate spacing and density for their fast growth and survival.
