A child is eligible for enrollment in FREE Pre-Kindergarten at Gregory-Portland ISD if he or she is at least four (4) years of age by September 1, 2019, and meets at least ONE (1) of the following requirements:(1) Unable to speak or comprehend the English language; (2) Eligible to participate in the national free and reduced-priced lunch program; (3) Homeless; (4) The child of an active duty member of the United States armed forces, including state military or reserves; (5) In foster care (or ever has been in foster care); (6) The child of a police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical responder seriously injured or killed in the line of duty (Star of Texas award); (7) The child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed while on active duty.
