Full Day and 5AM Preschool

Attendance and Tardy Policy • Please call school attendance

line if your child will not be attending school. In addition you may send me an email.

• Sick policy detailed in Handbook.

• In case of tardy: bring your child to the front office. A staff member will come to escort your child to class.

Arrival: 7:50- 8:05am

Dismissal

• 5 Day AM- 11:15 am– Children will be

dismissed out of Door #1 by teacher.

– Front office door

• Full Day- 3:10pm– Children will be

walked down to the cafeteria and dismissed out door #2 (same door as arrival)

– GAP: walk down with class, dropped off with after care teachers. We ask for IDs

Backpacks • Backpacks should be at least 11” x 15”

and has NO WHEELS. • Be sure that your child can manage to

open and close the backpack by himself/herself.

• Please check backpack daily for:• Notes• Projects• Class books

Clothing/Uniform Policy • Elastic waist pants/shorts are

encouraged for bathroom ease.• Washable play clothing the children

can easily manage• Gym shoes• Extra set of clothes for emergencies.• Please change as weather changes• Keep in Ziploc bag

Bathroom Policy• Children must be comfortable and able to

take care of their toileting needs.• In case of accident• Urination: child will independently change

their own clothes and may return to the classroom.

• BM: child is taken to the nurse and a parent is called to change the child. After being changed, the child may return to the classroom

Snacks• Each child plays the “host” of snack time.

• A snack calendar will be available each

month.

• Any questions: email me

• Snack must be “picked or peeled” fruits or

vegetables.

• Cheese is also accepted.

• Ice cream cups and sherbet cups

• Whip cream and sprinkles

• Child can “treat” the class to a

book!

It will be placed in our special

birthday bin

for everyone to enjoy.

Birthday

Rest Time• Rest mats will be kept in the room. Please label

them.

• Children may bring a “lovie” or blanket for rest

time.

• Lovies should be comforting and calming items

• Please keep action figures, Barbies and talking

toys at home.

• Share Days with Jolly Phonics
