MILLENNIAL USA FRIARS Evangelize the Next Generation: Skyrocketing Record Levels of Non-Believers...in America...and beyond…

SOULS SAVED ONLY BY YOUR FAITHFUL FINANCIAL SUPPORT . . We are excited to announce our beloved Francis-can Friars are doing well and advancing in semi-nary studies moving towards 5 priests total in a few short years (Brother Felice being just 1.5 YEARS from ordination)! And they have news! Af-ter 10 years as Franciscan Friars Minor, they are ex-cited to announce that they officially established a NEW community with new constitutions even more faithful to the tenets of St. Francis. This new com-munity is called the POOR BROTHERS OF SAINT FRANCIS. Pray for them! With renewed vigor, vision and fervor they are now continuing their journey to-wards priesthood, living in radical poverty, detached from the world, uniting with Christ, and preaching the Gospel in the streets, to the children, to the Churched, and un-Churched. We need them more than ever before, as the friars are Millennials! These are the bright new faces of the Future Church! The next generation is struggling in faith, with Pew Re-search reporting Millennials (now the largest genera-tion) scoring the lowest ever levels of Christianity, with a record 42% claiming “none” —no faith mem-bership whatsoever (non-believers). These young Friars are like Saint Francis going out to the pa-gans— not in a foreign land, but right here in our own backyard. The statistics are sobering. The solution is Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, and the whole Truth in the Gospel. “The time is accomplished, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.” MARK 1:15. Please financially support our Friars Seminarian Tuition Fund. They will NOT have the money to become priests, without YOUR support. You are having an ETERNAL impact in the battle for souls. They need $75,000 in 2020. 100% of donations go DIRECTLY to the Friars Tuition! Give now on our new donated website! www.SeminarianSupport.org

FAREWELL TO FR. JOSEPH ISRAEL, FORMER ALCP SUPERIOR GENERAL . From 2007 to 2019, Fr. Joseph Israel served two consecutive terms leading the Apostolic Life Community Priests. Fr. Israel was responsible for leading the ALCP efforts serving the Catholic Church in Tanzania, Kenya, India, Germany, Italy, United States and Canada. Through his efforts and strong administrative talents, the ALCP strengthened and built their school system with many new projects. In particular, the Moshi Bendel Memorial secondary school (780 students) and the Joyland Girls ’ sec-ondary school (430 students). One important mission of Fr. Israel was to get Canonical recognition for the ALCP as a “Society of the Diocesan Rite,” which occurred in 2012. We were thankful that Fr. Israel visited Fort Wayne, Indiana in October to thank WSS for support during his tenure. Fr Israel was a blessing for his community and the Catholic Church in developing more priests and increasing the number of seminarians to serve Christ. Thank you, good and faithful servant! Please pray for him, and the new Superior General.

Dear World Seminarian Support Faithful ! We hope that you are all fine in the LORD! We have prepared ourselves for the Christmas celebration and will welcome 2020 with great joy! You are in our prayers as daughters and sons of God. Here is the good news of our ALCP Community. The Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Israel and his Council has finished his term of office of twelve years. On November 20, 2019 Our General chapter convened and elected a new Superior General and his Council for the next six years. The results were as follows: 1.Very Rev. Pray for them and the sheep they shepherd!

On December 2nd Rt. Rev. Bishop Ludovick J. Minde, ALCP/OSS, was appointed Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Moshi/Tanzania. Bishop Minde was also supported by you, the members of WSS! Please pray for his new ministry in the Catholic Dio-cese of Moshi. In the ALCP formation program we have seminarians at different levels. We have ten (10) seminarians in the first year of formation, Fourteen (14) seminarians in the second year formation (before they make their temporary dedication and contract) and forty eight (48) seminarians both in philosophy and theology at the Holy Spirit Fathers Formation House (previously called Holy Spirit College). We thank God for these vocations and we continue to pray for God's blessings and protection. This year we experienced the deaths of brother-Priests Fr. Joseph Tumaini Mosha, and Fr. Ambrose Kuringe Ndanu. We pray for them and all our deceased brothers and sisters and relatives for their eternal rest. We wish to convey our greetings and grati-tude to all WSS supporters. We ask the Lord to protect and guide you in His ways and we ask the Virgin Mary for her motherly prayers of protection for you and yours. Fr. Christmas

2019

Your faithful donations to Worldwide Seminarian Support for over 26 years, along with your prayers, are proving fruitful! Here is a list of blessings received that we can be thankful for:

International elections of new ALCP Leadership. Bishop Prosper Lyimo, Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Arusha-Tanzania installed the leadership.

Nigerian Seminarian Christian Ilechukwu has been or-dained a Deacon this month. We have been supporting him for four years. He is Msgr Pius’ nephew!

Three more Deacons supported by WSS were or-dained priests on Tuesday, December 10th in Moshi, Tanzania.

Bishop Minde, the first ALCP Bishop, was transferred by Rome to the Moshi, Tanzania Diocese. Many of us were blessed with our time with Bishop Minde when he visited the U.S. a many years ago. Bishop Minde will now be Bishop of the home diocese of ALCP!

WSS Co-Founder Fr. Nicholas Nilema was elected for a six year term as ALCP Councilor to the new ALCP Superi-or General! Also, through a special project drive, WSS raised $50,000 for the Arusha Youth Center project to combat sex trafficking, drug addiction and assisting unwed mothers!

We can all be thankful to GOD that the fruits of our labor are being blessed by the Holy Spirit. We thank the Holy Spirit for giving us the blessing of funding seminarians and worthy projects that support our Holy Catholic Church! Merry Christmas and a Happy 2020 New Year! In Christ through Our Sorrowful Mother, John L. Becker Jr. WSS Founding President (260)415-3458

GLOBAL ETERNAL IMPACT

Your Supported Seminarians become priests serving in the USA, Africa, India, Canada, and Europe. Here are some updates from our 3 Nigerian seminarians all studying at Blessed Iwene Tansi Major Seminary, in Onitsha, Nigeria. Michael Okodo is in Theology One. Michael is from one of the towns in the Diocese called Azigbo. Damian A. Okonkwo is also in Theology One. He is from Nnewi, the town of the seat of the Diocese. Christian I. Ilechukwu is in Theology Three. He is from one of the major towns of the Diocese. He needs your special prayers for by the grace of God he has been ordained a Deacon this month! He is Msgr Pius’ nephew. Please continue to support them and pray for them to grow into holy priests! Nigeria is the front line between Christianity and Islam. It’s important to con-tinue to evangelize and convert non-believers globally as Christ commanded, bringing them to the light of the only One Holy Catholic Apostolic Faith. Each donation goes to live out the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy for those in most need. Your impact eternally is substantial and immeasurable. Please generously support them. 100% of your donations go to their tuition. Please give TODAY. The need is great. Our supported Nigerian Seminarians NEED $9,000 to pay for their tuition this year. They humbly rely on you.

. Globally the Priest Shortage Continues to SURGE...YOU can help! There’s an abundance of devout Catholic seminarians relying on you for tuition.
