So…What do we need to do?

Page 5: Precinct Officer and Volunteers Informational Meeting Presentation

the whole Election Day

2. Election Poll Runners

We need runners in every precinct on record with

the Wilson County Board of

ElectionsTo check the list of E-Day

Votersat BOE designated times

3. ElectionPoll Literature

Volunteers

Election Poll Literature volunteers are important because

some folks like to be asked to vote for a candidate, need more

information, etc.

Page 10: Precinct Officer and Volunteers Informational Meeting Presentation

4. Phone Bank VolunteersVoters (and fellow volunteers) need to be reached from now until (and on) Election Day. Phone bankers can find those that

want to vote but have no ride, etc. & communicate that to precinct officers or HQ.

NOTE:Specific, up-to-date lists for

each precinct can be produced on an hourly

basis & volunteers can call from their homes, if they

commit to notify the precinct or party officials of

voters or problems that they find through calling.

5. ELECTION CANVASSING VOLUNTEERS

ELECTION CANVASSING MAY

OCCUR LATER THAN PHONE BANKING, BUT FACE-TO-FACE INTERACTIONS ARE PROVEN TO BE VERY

EFFECTIVE WITH GETTING VOTERS

(OUR SUPPORTERS) TO THE POLLS!

NOTE:On Election Day,

Canvassing becomes “Knock & Drag.” In

other words, you knock on the door, and drag them to the polls

(give them a ride).
