Slant Control™

N/A Standard

NORAC’s Slant Control™ system automatically controls the main lift and slant of the sprayers center section. It compensates for side hills and slopes to maintain a pre-set height above the ground or crop.

Standard Control™

x Optional

NORAC’s Standard Control™ system is intended for booms up to 90’ and for use in less challenging terrain. The system automatically controls wing lift using the sprayer’s existing on/off valves to maintain a pre-set height above the ground or crop.

Passive Roll™ x Standard

NORAC’s Passive Roll™ system automatically measures and compensates for roll in the center section while controlling wing lift independently. The system prevents one boom’s action from affecting the other while maintaining a pre-set height above the ground or crop.

Active Roll™ x Standard

NORAC’s Active Roll™ system automatically measures and controls the roll of the center section while controlling the wing lift and main lift independently. By rotating and controlling the center section, wing lift speeds are increased and spray height is maintained even in the most severe conditions.

Active Wing Roll™

x Standard

NORAC’s Active Wing Roll™ system automatically controls the wing lift and main lift independently while hydraulically linking the left and right wings to simulate roll. Isolating the chassis movement from the boom allows for more precise control in challenging terrain.

UC5™isNORAC’smostadvancedBoomHeightControlSystem.Thiscontroller is ISOBUScertifiedandcanbe integratedwithavariety of virtual terminals and displays (as shown on page 5). Alternatively it can be used as a stand-alone system that is operated through NORAC’s PULSE™ color touchscreen display. In addition to Crop Mode™ and Soil Mode™, operators will enjoy the patented Hybrid Mode™ technology. The UC5™ system is not only easy to operate, but offers advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

Although kit content varies by the level of control, commonly supplied components include:

By installing this option an operator adds a second sensor to each wing. This sensor is normally mounted half way down the length of the boom and provides additional boom protection in severe terrain. This option is helpful in any one or a combination of the following situations:

• Boom lengths longer than 90 ft. (27 m) • Land with sharp knolls such as terraces • Spraying in fall crop where there are thin or lodged areas

NORAC’s Slant Control™ system automatically controls the main lift and slant of the sprayers center section. It compensates for side hills and slopes to maintain a pre-set height above the ground or crop.

Standard Control™

x Optional

NORAC’s Standard Control™ system is intended for booms up to 90’ and for use in less challenging terrain. The system automatically controls wing lift using the sprayer’s existing on/off valves to maintain a pre-set height above the ground or crop.

Passive Roll™ x Optional

NORAC’s Passive Roll™ system automatically measures and compensates for roll in the center section while controlling wing lift independently. The system prevents one boom’s action from affecting the other while maintaining a pre-set height above the ground or crop.

Active Roll™ x Optional

NORAC’s Active Roll™ system automatically measures and controls the roll of the center section while controlling the wing lift and main lift independently. By rotating and controlling the center section, wing lift speeds are increased and spray height is maintained even in the most severe conditions.

Active Wing Roll™

x Optional

NORAC’s Active Wing Roll™ system automatically controls the wing lift and main lift independently while hydraulically linking the left and right wings to simulate roll. Isolating the chassis movement from the boom allows for more precise control in challenging terrain.

UC4.5™ is NORAC’s entry level Boom Height Control System. It comes complete with a stand-alone digital control panel that offers the same user interface and menu structure as UC4+™. In addition to Crop Mode™ and Soil Mode™, operators will enjoy the patented Hybrid Mode™ technology. Depending on the level of control, most kits will provide automatic control of sprayer boom wings, but Main Lift control is sold seperately.

All kits contain UC5™ sensors and network cables. Although kit content varies by the level of control, commonly supplied components include:

Explanation of Kit:• Installation of larger diameter hydraulic hoses and fittings, which will

greatly improve boom speeds and therefore improve overall performance.• Replacement of the existing upper undersized Active Roll™/link arm pin

with a 20mm pin which will reduce the play in the upper roll link/Active Roll™ cylinder, therefore improving stability. The lower 20mm bolt does not need to be changed.

Extended Warranty PackagesNORAC continues to develop Spray Height Control systems that provide the best performance available on the market today. Warranty is only available if you register your new purchase or if you purchase Extended Warranty. By registering online (www.norac.ca) most system updates will be done FREE OF CHARGE for the next two years.

NORAC Systems International Inc.Statement of Limited WarrantyNORAC SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL INC., also known as NORAC, warrants all equipment of its manufacture to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. This warranty period is for a period of twelve months from the date the equipment is delivered by NORAC or its authorized dealer to the purchaser. Items include control systems and genuine replacement parts manufactured by NORAC. Auxiliary components not manufactured by NORAC or NORAC rebuilt parts are covered by a 90-day warranty.

NORAC will repair free of charge items returned within the warranty period to one of NORAC’s authorized service centers. In countries where NORAC maintains authorized service centers, freight will be paid one way and returned by the same carrier unless instructed differently. The purchaser is responsible that the item is properly packaged for shipment. Shipping damage is not covered under this warranty.

NORAC or its authorized Service Center will repair or replace, at its option, any defective part or component at nocosttothepurchaserduringtheWarrantyperiod.IfserviceinthefieldisrequiredNORACwillauthorizeon-site repairs at no charge for parts and labor. Travel time, travel costs and per diem expenses to and from the place where repairs are made, will not be covered by this warranty. NORAC will not warranty any complaints relating to inadequate installation (unless the installation was performed by NORAC), adjustments or calibration.
