PREFACE
Praise Allah, the Almighty God, for His blessings and love that made it
possible for this thesis, which entitled “International Attention Toward Myanmar
Government’s Violation on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by
Arbitrarily Detaining Aung San Suu Kyi (1989 – 2010)”, to be completed well
and in accord with His guidance. This thesis consists of the combination of
knowledge, efforts and experiences that were obtained through the four years of
studies in Universitas Pelita Harapan and it is intended to attain the Bachelor’s
Degree in Social Sciences at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of
Universitas Pelita Harapan, Lippo Village, Tangerang, Banten.
The process of compiling this thesis will not be possible without the
guidance, support and prayers from the people around the writer. In this
opportunity, the writer would like to dedicate her gratitude and give the highest
