Proportion of mothers breastfeeding;

56.1% has decreased from 57.0% in 2014 is 22% higher than Northern Ireland overall (45.8%) is the highest across all councils (at council level)

2015 in the most deprived areas within LCCC;

Proportion of mothers breastfeeding;

37.4%3 Information on the proportion of mothers that were breastfeeding their child on discharge from hospital extracted from the Child Health System. The figures include mothers that were breastfeeding their child but also using complimentary feeding as well.

17.6% has decreased from 23.1% in 2014 is 92% higher compared to LCCC overall (Inequality Gap) the Inequality Gap has decreased from 133% in 2013 the fourth highest Inequality Gap (across all 42 indicators) within LCCC the highest Inequality Gap across all councils (at council level)
