*I didn’t realize that many or some ethnic people harbored such deep seated feelings against white people.*Reading and researching

some of the happenings and confrontations that black people faced was a reminder of how far back the problems go.

*Some white people simply do not grasp what the situation is like for African Americans and other ethnic groups.*Segregation,

discrimination and hate were a part of the African American persons life almost everywhere in the U.S. since before the 70’s.

*Those that grew up in places like Utah in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s have a hard time fathoming the scope of the racism problem.

America now. Most associate the name with extremist thought and terrorism .
