We take this opportunity to introduce ‘GREEN THOUGHT ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS.’,

and ‘Auro–Mira Service Society.’, both organisations are dedicated for the cause of

Sustainable living in India. Since more than 60% of Indian population is deprived of toilet

facilities and open defecation is a big health hazard.

We have launched a GREEN SANITATION CAMPAIGN for a healthy and hygienic life

style to promote general well being of our population, especially in the rural areas of India.

The project will be executed under the guidance of Auro–Mira Service Society, in

partnership with villagers, thus providing them employment opportunities & making them

hygiene conscious.

THE GREEN SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM:

The Green Sewage Treatment System uses Bacterial Consortium that degrades night soil

and produces colorless, odourless fertile water with an inflammable gaseous effluent.

It requires no sewage-line connection or additional septic tanks for disposal of black water or

waste from toilets. There is no dependence on limited and costly conventional energy sources

like Electricity. This technology is completely maintenance free and a continuous biological

process, which disposes human waste in 100% eco-friendly manner. The smell of night soil,

disease causing organisms in the night soil and solid matter are almost eliminated. While the

negligible gaseous effluent is let off into the atmosphere, the liquid effluent being an organic

liquid fertilizer, can be channelized for gardening or agricultural use.

This technology was developed & patented by Department of Research & Defence

Organisation (DRDO). It has been extensively used by the Defence Forces for a number of

years and is now being extended to civilian/ commercial use.
