MAX REELSLaunched in 2013, Macnaught’s MAX twin pedestal metal hose reel is the first hose reel developed worldwide that features an integrated flow meter and flow register. The combination of Macnaught’s new range of MX oval gear flow meters featuring the revolutionary M-Lock™ mounting system with the new range of Macnaught MAN service truck twin pedestal metal hose reels offers unparalleled simplicity for OEMs, installers and users alike. With the MAX range of metered hose reels there is no longer any need for separate mounting of meters, intermediate plumbing or vulnerable wiring between meters and registers. The reel comes completely fitted and wired to be placed in situ and ready to function. The only installation required is bolting the unit down and the connection of the inlet fluids and outlet control. Although also being suitable for workshop applications, the MAX range of metered hose reels has been specifically designed to meet the demands of mobile service vehicles.

VIRGIN AUSTRALIA PRESSURE RELIEF VALVEOver the years, Macnaught has built a strong reputation for designing and manufacturing innovative, high quality, durable products that are well supported with technical advice and service.

We were asked by Virgin Australia to work with them in providing solutions to meet their requirements and comply with the greasing manuals of aircraft manufacturers, which require pressure of no more than 2,500 PSI.

Macnaught’s R&D department began development of a tailored solution to Virgin Australia’s needs. After the approval process we manufactured a specialised component that specifically met the requirements of the aviation industry and thus solved Virgin Australia’s problem.
