Our Lilith dresses are all 20% to 50% off, with an average discounted price of £200, so that brand has been popular too. Gant has been popular, with Sale prices ranging from £70 to £200. We’re also selling a lot of Armani Jeans (£130). A 30% discount on Marella coats is proving very popular (£290 to £400) too.” DEBORAH GARNETT Owner, The Clothes Room in Harrogate, North Yorkshire “Joseph outerwear has been doing quite well for us, especially the padded styles which range from £400 to £600 in the Sale. Knitwear from Humanoid (£140) is flying out, as are Oska coats (£200) and boots from H by Hudson (£120).” LORRAINE FOOT Manager, Jessimara in Golders Green, London “Parkas from Parajumpers (£745) are great for the winter, and our sheepskins and furs (£500 to £1,500) are doing well too. Cashmere sweaters (£365) from the Chinti and Parker pre-spring 14 collection are already very popular. Dosa holiday pieces like silk slips, kaftans and camis (£160) are selling, as are cashmere sweaters and cardigans (£300 to £500) from English Weather.” JACOB QUAGLIOZZI Manager, David Copperfield in St Albans “We’re selling loads of knitwear from Paul Smith, with merino styles (£120) in particular demand, and denim is starting to pick up (£105). Ralph Lauren polo shirts (£75) are selling all day long as usual, as are Nudie jeans (£95).” NOELEEN HOWARD Manager, Ken Young International Fashions in Coleraine, Northern Ireland “Boss Black has been doing great, with discounted suits going for around £420. Denim is popular across the board, in particular styles from Boss Orange (£100) and Tommy Hilfiger (£120).” LOUIS COPELAND Owner, Louis Copeland in Dublin “Suits (£830 to £1,000) and jackets (£660 to £740) from Canali are strong sellers, as are our own brand Louis Copeland suits (£430 to £660) and shirts (£80 to £110). The Commander jacket (£400) is proving popular, but we’re shifting a lot of Sale jackets too (£130 to £250). Ralph Lauren shirts (£95) and knitwear (£120) are also popular.” TONY SMITH Manager, Dartagnan in Chichester, West Sussex “Vivienne Westwood shirting (£215 reduced to £150) is doing amazingly, as are blazers (£1,000 reduced to £600).
