    1) Take at least 60 minutes prior to eating2) Swallow capsules whole, or carefully empty the contents by opening the capsule and

    sprinkling the enteric-coated granules over one tablespoonful of applesauce. Ingest the

    applesauce/drug mixture without chewing

    3) Nexium granules should be mixed with one tablespoonful (15 mL) of water, stirred, leftfor 2-3 minutes, then taken orally. Water can be taken to the container a second time if

    any medication is remaining. The dose should be taken within 30 minutes of mixing.
