compAssion in Action/KoinoniA primAry cAreCompassion in Action/Koinonia Primary Care was founded to touch the lives of the people of West Hill and Arbor Hill. This region is among the poorest in Albany; few of its residents can afford any type of medical insurance. The clinic provides patients with primary medical and mental health services regardless of their ability to pay.

The Albany Society for the Advancement of Philanthropy (ASAP for short) was founded as a way to give back to the Albany area in a way that was enjoyable for all involved; to encourage philanthropy and have a good time while doing so. With the backing support of the original ASAP members, ASAP Daisies strive to facilitate even more good deeds throughout the community. ASAP is not dedicated to any specific philanthropic endeavor. In

fact, as their “Relax and Encourage” motto states, they are dedicated instead to encouraging others to engage in philanthropic activities in the Albany area. ASAP is ultimately designed to help the individuals and organizations who are most qualified to help those in need.
