About us:We belong to our school's robotics clubfamily and it's a pleasure for us to havethe opportunity to represent our countryin the world robotics competition inCHINA: MakeX 2019.

As a team, we love technology and through MakeXprojects we develop our STEAM skills we haveacquired during our school time.

We have participated in several contests ofrobotics, but in this arduous competition we want togive our best to be a huge challenge.

Team Work:

The key to thisachievement in MakeX2019 was the teamworkbecause we solve problemstogether all the time.

Through mutual support between usand teamwork with our teachershave been able to get thisachievement.We pooled all our skills so that eachone of us contributed satisfactorilyto the collaborative work.

We are from Peru, a multicultural country in LatinAmerica, which has a cultural blend that is divided intothree parts: COSTA, SIERRA and SELVA.

Our country:

The SIERRA is part of the mountainrange of our country and itstraditions stand out throughthe cosmovisions of the ancientPeruvians and the production oflarge crops such as potatoes.

The COSTA is the country'scoastline and its urban culture,gastronomy and industrializationstand out.

The SELVA is the Amazonian part ofour country and stands out for its floraand fauna due to the large number ofspecies both animals and plants thatinhabit it, in addition to theappropriate coexistence of society withthese species.

Peruvian gastronomy is called one of the bestin the world because it is one of the mostvaried and exquisite, which is evident in thetypical dishes of our country.

In Peru we have Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of theworld. It is an architectural wonder designed by the ancientPeruvians, is located in Cuzco, which was the capital of theInca empire and so far has many unrevealed mysteries. It is agreat tourist destination.

Cultural elements:As far as possible, we have tried tobring cultural elements from ourcountry that allow us to share withother teams about our culture.

We are very excited to share alittle of our culture, throughobjects, with the world.

Our scohol:Our school is:

“Colegio Mayor SecundarioPresidente del Perú - COAR LIMA”,which is part of the network ofhigh-performance schools since2015 as an educational project withprojection to the bicentennial ofindependence in 2021.

This school offers theInternational Baccalaureatediploma program, whichforms us integral, criticaland reflective students ofreality.

In the school, in additionto academic activities,we also develop indifferent areas such assports, arts and robotics.

Robotics club of our school

We are a club made up of 20 students who shareinterests in technology, electronics and informationtechnology. We distinguish ourselves from otherschool groups by the ambitious projects we carry out.Throughout the year we participate in different typesof competition and each year this family grows more.

Our robot and programation:

We adapted our robot to the different missionsthat were planned this year. It has a servomotorand color sensor added to its sides, and ist hasour logo at back.

We base theprogramming onlogical and heuristicrules for decisionmaking, as well as amenu that allows usto select missions.

Experience: Participating in MakeX 2019 has given usgreat experiences. We have learned the useof a new programming software, Arduinoenvironment, as well as working withaluminum parts.

We will not forget the day that City Guardiankits were donated to us, because that day beganthe arduous preparation where we apply all ourskills and constantly improve them.

Therefore, representing our country in China is a great pride and a goal accomplished. We will give the best of our team and we hope to be part of this MakeX experience again, the best.

We hope to be able to demonstrate tothe maximum our abilities acquiredin the MakeX 2019 season.

Also share our culture with othersliving a great experience and learn alot of things that will serve us in ourlives.
