Glacier water
Our fountain is located in one
of the highest areas of
Iceland; the prehistoric
glacier of Eyjafjallajökull,
located north of Skógar and
west of Mýrdalsjökull..
Glacier water
Why wáter from the icelandic glacier
Eyjafjallajökull?
Iceland is one of the areas with cleanest air in the world,
which is crucial for the purity of water in its early stages.
Water that evaporates over south American rainforests is
directed towards the North Pole, thanks to rotation and air
currents. Pure natural ice is created from snow. that forms
in the atmosphere from water vapour.
The water
Water that freezes at atmospheric altitudes and transforms
into snow receives oxygen during this process. The high
amount of dissolved oxygen becomes a natural part of the
water, which is not very common for European water.
Glacier water
Raindrops that freeze into snowflakes, fall on
Iceland's volcanic soil. There the water, frozen for
thousands of years and gradually under pressure
from other snowflakes that were transformed into
impervious ice, fell along the glacier wall to the
volcanic rock, where it began to melt under the
natural influence of earth's crust temperature.
Glaciers naturally melt in their lower layers, which
are between 30.000 and 90.000 years old. Ice itself
contains no minerals. Iceland has a unique geology
created by the movement of tectonic plates and a
series of volcanic eruptions.
Glacier water
Geologically, Iceland is a very young island, located
over European and American tectonic plates , and all
the volcanic and geothermal effects that this entails.
Water from naturally melting glaciers is filtered
through basalt, tuff, obsidian, rhyolite and pumice
stone. Such a composition of "filtration" plates does
not exist anywhere else on Earth. These rocks give the
glacial water its inherent sweet taste and
predetermine the high pH. Thanks to these factors, the
taste of Iceland's glacial water is unmistakable.
The water industry has entered the luxury market and
is already looking towards the planet's glaciers. The
iconic Eyjafjallajökull glacier holds a secret: it is one of
the world's most remote natural resources of clean,
clear and pure drinking water.
Glacier water
Glacier water
This ice giant is approximately 110,000 years old
and its interior has never been exposed to the
environment, so the purity of its waters is
beyond doubt.
H2o glacier accesses only 1% of the glacier's
water before it has a sea, to ensure the
sustainability of Iceland's marine ecosystem.
This water has a large amount of electrons due
to the lack of hydrogen proton in its mineral
composition.
A very important feature of our water is its high
pH of 8.3 which adds a high alkaline value in its
composition. It also has a high natural oxygen
content of 9.4 mg/l.

Improves the immune
system
Glacier water
Drinking alkaline water facilitates the elimination of toxins
and acidic waste and prevents them from accumulating again,
boosting the disposal of waste from our body and preventing
other diseases.
* It is a powerful natural antacid and improves our intestinal
health. It is highly recommended for cases of chronic diarrhea,
constipation, indigestion and diseases of the stomach or
intestine.
It helps prevent diseases such as diabetes, asthma,
osteoporosis, hepatitis, cholesterol, hypertension and
dermatitis.
* It also prevents premature aging, contributing to better
oxygenation of cells and effectively combating free radicals.
* It prevents fluid retention due to its ability to maintain pH
balance in our body, so that it does not have to retain fluids to
fight acidosis.
* Provides better hydration than mineral water, being a more
permeable water.

Glacier water
Optimal water for
those who make
exercise everyday
* The alkaline water is especially
recommended for athletes.
* Among other benefits, it improves
the body's buffering capacity.
* Reduces fatigue and regulates the
acidity that occurs when performing
intense exercise.
* When the body is in a situation of
over-effort, in addition to suffering
dehydration, acids increase and this
can make it difficult to remove lactic
acid from muscles, which greatly
decreases energy production.
* To avoid this, it is best to feed lightly
and hydrate with alkaline water
before, during, and after exercise.

How to innovate in water?
The world of water has three pillars: origin,
composition and health.
Some have to be special
The water of Eyjafjallajökull is special in all three!
Glacier water
Thanks to Rafael Galobart and Kristinn Salvador
and their eagerness to export Icelandic glacial
waters, we can benefit from all the properties
that make this water, a water unique in the
world for its glacial filtering and not only rocky,
as in most bottled waters. Undoubtedly the
uniqueness of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier makes
its waters and properties a totally different
brand in the water market

RENOVABLES & SUSTAINABLES
Our products are sustainable and carbon neutral, as
well as not causing any environmental impact as the
natural flow of fresh water to the sea is not
interrupted.
Glacier water
H2o glacier gets its exceptional
water from Iceland's iconic
Eyjafjallajökull volcanic glacier,
using the natural gravity of the
flow, through environmentally
friendly processes.
Water, already naturally filtered by the glacier itself
and volcanic lava rocks, is subjected to strict controls to
ensure its purity before packaging
