Among the areas considered by the Parties as offering potential for cooperation under the Agreement the following are specifically mentioned:

- Space science, in particular space astronomy and astrophysics, solar system exploration and solar-terrestrial physics;

- Earth observation research and applications, in particular environmental monitoring, meteorology, aeronomy and geodesy, disaster management;

- Telecommunications, in particular service demonstrations and satellite navigation;

- Microgravity research, in particular space biology and medicine, and materials processing;

- Ground segment engineering and utilization;

- Launchers.

According to contract:- Manufacturing of product patterns and validation have been realisedAt present- Realisation of additional product testing and validation;- Preparation of report documentation;- Execution of bench stage tests at assemblage on the German territory.Planned for 2009Contract conclusion

The manufacturing by the enterprises Yuzhnoye and Yuzhmash according to contract with AVIO S.p.a. company (Italy) of the forth stage engine block for the European small launch-vehicle “Vega” .

Вартість контрактуВідповідно до контракту:

- виготовлено зразки виробу та проведено випробування.На даний час:- проводяться додаткові випробування виробу;- готується звітна документація;проводяться стендові випробування ступеня в зборі на території Німеччини.Планується у 2009 р.укладення контракту

Виготовлення підприємствами ДП “КБ Південне”, ДП “ВО Південмаш”, відповідно до контракту з компанією AVIO S.p.a. (Італія), блоку маршового двигуна четвертого ступеня європейської малої ракети-носія “Вега” .
