INTRODUCTION TO TOPIC• . From the present

population of India almost 70% lives in Villages and depends mainly on agriculture that’s why India is known as agricultural country. From past many years the population is increasing tremendously that have forces the agricultural people to gets more from their land

• They started to use pesticides, fertilizers etc for extra growth. This has made people to spend more money on agriculture.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

1.The study is to know to what extend the bank is capable of providing the funds to people and how much more fund it needs to supply it to the people.2. This study also reveals the real extend to which the customers of the bank are satisfied with its functioning and its products.

4 .So the main aim of the study is to check how much people are related to bank for carrying out their routine business. How much they spend and how much they save from their business, how they feel after getting related to JK Bank Ltd. Primary Data:-We took primary data by

interview method which covered the answering of questionnaires from people. We collected the data first hand for the first time.

Secondary Data:-We consulted some books and previous project reports for some topic like Introduction to the topic and also referred some websites. We also took information from various people who are in close touch with the consumers

Survey:-The type of survey undertaken was that of sample type keeping in consideration the time constraint and paraphernalia, besides the viability of census survey, the sample survey thus being taken to the right path to reach the desired destination was carefully planed to convert of the operation by using selected samples

Sampling:-I used convenient sampling for

collection of the data, where the sample is neither selected by judgment nor by chance but by convenience. This method is also known as Chung method.

FINDINGS:

• In this area most of the people are related with the businesses which are directly or indirectly related to agriculture.

Maximum people are not satisfied with the interest rate charged by the bank for its agriculture loans. They think that they can further be lowered. The people in this area are small business man. They will not be able to pay such high interest rates

The people have a mixed reaction on the pay back period of the loan. Some say its good where as some say it’s short. It depends on the mind of people and their business

•People here in kupwara still need about 1-2 lac more for their business. They need this money to provide good facilities for their business like pesticides, chemicals, fertilizers etc.

•From the survey it is clear that the majority of people whom we have surveyed are satisfied with the JK bank. These people are satisfied with its service and its products.

CONCLUSION:The JK bank is known for its products and facilities mostly agricultural people. The bank has to concentrate on the fruit growers who face very hard ship in their business. These people are the back bone of theJammu and Kashmir’s economy.
