Umer R.A. He used to 'ear clothes that had manypatches and yet received *overnors# convoys anddiplomats.

He took just enough allo'ance from the )tate tohave a simple meal and 'ear simple clothes. Attimes he 'as very poor. He used to visit the oldpeople and sick and even do their house 'ork.

He used to visit the houses of the soldiers andin+uire about their families.

He stayed a'ake at night in )alaah and often kept,ast.

Umer R.A. 3 times in the back# severely 'oundingthe 4aliph.

Hazrat Umer R.A. passed a'ay 5 days later in 65A.H. He 'as 35 years old.
