Aim of the Project:

The major aim of this project is to design, build, implement, test and deploy wireless attendance system regarding the student’s presence in British College. The system will be functional only on android smartphone users only.

Background of the Project:

Survey on android smartphone users on British College:Result: Android users: 69%

IOS: 32%

Problems occurred due to manual attendance:• Disturbance for both teachers and students,• Effortful, • Time consuming while taking the attendance for large

number of students, • Difficulty in analyzing the data,• Errors at the time of attendance. Sometimes, lecturer

may tick for the absent students which is generally due to the friends of those.

• Students present in the class for only the attendance.

System Design Architecture:As a solution, a android application is proposed on a following system architecture:

Benefits of Application:• Use of technology which is beneficiary to British College,• Interactive,• Effortless,• Easy management of records,• Error free,• Scalable.

Future Work and Scope:Every product has its scope on future. Only the scalable product can continue for longer. On upgrading on the following features, the product delivers more significant.• On future, attendance could be part of the application.

College might add it’s information on different layout highlighting the courses and modules, FAQs, online registration as well as importantly emailing and messaging services.

• Secondly, for improvising the application advanced database software might be integrated so that it would be easier to allocate the records based on levels and sections, create reports and so forth.
