Colour: •Has to relatable to women, therefore using light pinks, white and light greys.

Imagery: • In order to relate to my target audience I will use female models that are also in the same age range as my audience.

Articles: •I will make the articles relatable to: • age e.g. binge drinking. But also being relatable to their •gender, e.g. Fashion.

Name : Genre of the magazine: Women’s Lifestyle magazine Gap in the market: Fits in the women’s lifestyle genre however presents informative articles that include commonly used articles, such as fashion. For example the history of fashion. Downfall: Although fills a gap in the market it may be view as the same as my competition.

Positives: •Colour Scheme is relatable to the audience

•Possibly put in another image rather then the breakout box.

Pink heading, short and accessible Sell lines, using statement sell lines and question sell lines Same font used for sell lines but different colours, placed around the image. 3 colour palette that is consistent throughout, greys, pinks and whites. This colour scheme creates the brand identity of the magazine.

Bold pink heading, using the same font as the mast head on the front cover of the magazine. Magazine logo, as seen at the top left hand side of this page, is used to brand the magazine. Colour scheme of grey, pink and white to fit with the consistent colour scheme. Use of one image in order to make the page draw attention to certain articles.

Flat Plans: Night Out Dangers

Ideal Magazine

Bold heading, using two colours, pink and grey to make the key word ‘danger’ stand out. 6 columns used in order to split the article and make it easier for the reader to read. Colour scheme of grey, pink and white to fit with the consistent colour scheme. 2 images used in order to allow a slightly more balanced text to image ratio. Main image is hard hitting and portrays a message.

Flat Plans: To fur or not to fur

Ideal Magazine

Elegant grey heading, fitting in with the colour scheme. The heading also allows the reader to answer the title with their own views. 5 columns used in order to present a debate and conclusion. Colour scheme of grey, pink and white to fit with the consistent colour scheme. 1 images use, this image will dominate the page as it will show the landscape of a beach and on the far right the image of the female model. Image presents the theme of the double page spread.

• A conclusion allowing the reader to make their own opinion

Bold pink heading, in the style of handwriting in order to make it relatable to the audience. 6 columns and 6 images that show how many decades are being discussed. Colour scheme of grey, pink and white to fit with the consistent colour scheme. 6 images used presenting 6 outfits from the different decades being discussed. Images made to look like polaroid photographs and alongside them will be captions that say the style and the decade it was from.
