DESCRIPTION
Mivit, Museo Internazionale Vittime del Terrorismo, is an important international project, that wants to achieves two main objectives: to emphasize the high value of the life and to become an instrument to counter the "infernal killing machine" that terrorism is on the actual time.

MIVIT is an "area" where we wish keep the memory of what
during the last fifty years. The hate, the intolerance and the
political violence, have made, also flowing in the most aberrant
conflicts between the State and the "anti-State" organizations,
where the real tribute paid, was been the highest number of
human lifes.
MIVIT is an important international project, that wants to
achieves two main objectives: to emphasize the high value of the
life and to become an instrument to counter the "infernal killing
machine" that terrorism is on the actual time.
MIVIT aims to provide an unique platform addicted to "the memory
diffusion" and to the establishment of a community front.
By through the collaboration of: Associations and terrorism victims
Family and Institutions, we will find solutions and, mobilizing
resources, we approach the main challenges to the fight against
terrorism, building a common consciousness becoming the best
defense of the future societies.
MIVIT will represent the expression of civil awareness, about how
much this terrible phenomenon is still deeply rooted in the social
life.2
THE MIVIT
The noun "terrorism" is became part of the common language;
becomes very important to establish which histories take part about
our idea of the structuring of terrorism.
Each State through to own associations, will contribute to the
emergence of MIVIT.
MIVIT will be the place where we will join the stories that influence
our ability to remember events: motivate people to take action,
stimulating our capacity to "problems solving".
"The crossing between fundamentalist radicalism and technology"
is one of the threats that we have to tackle every days.
As well, internet and social media, places where the fundalistment
recruitment, are environment where our influence has to be
disclosed, against a violence system, indifferent to the pain
generated, fomented hatred.
The MIVIT and its international promotion becomes vital for the
aggregation of all the States concerned and sensitive.

THE MIVIT
MIVIT will involve those territories, those areas characterized by a
precise historical, cultural, political and religious identity, and
Institutions and Associations involved also by different local aims.
MIVIT will involve each element as : religion, art, environmental
heritage, different cultures specifications, the various stories of
contemporary interest and proposals aimed at various cultural
targets .
By several decades, some Public Subjects in different areas, have
identified and developed a "Memory Policy". They have recovered
and developed exhibits, in order to initiate a meaningful
intervention, cultural and economic historian. On which to base, a
significant part of development policy alternative in comparison to
those have been successfully tested in alternating field
communicational, but now, with the contemporary approach to
memory.

THE PROJECT CONTEXT
The develop of the project take care by: AVIT - international
Terrorism Victims Association - and an Innovative Operative Team,
menaged by Roberto Manzoni and Fabio Guido - involves the
implementation of a specific strategy for cultural development.
This will be possible 'through an innovative model of integrated
management of cultural heritage, as well the aspects link to
recover as others to cultural innovations.
The project also aims, thanks own functional characteristics and
dimensional, to strengthen the knowledge of those involved in
international community, and to gain the attention of the local and
international public.
In fact, this audience may be attracted by the significant heritage of
memories spread inside the museum.
In this context, the Museum will contribute to the development of a
new socio-economic model, which will able to combine several
factors as well strategy and interest, to transform an opportunity in
need.

The MIVIT aimed at creating an international cultural product, locates
the "geography" topic, on the basis of which contribute to the
management of the cultural system of territorial development and
through the enhancement of cultural heritage, that the application of
new technology multimedia.
The MIVIT place dedicated to the "Memory", allows to create a
synergy between cultures, commemorations and innovative
services, to be able to gradually integrate all the activities that will
be made available by various Istitutions, which will become part of
the cultural museum.
THE PROJECT CONTEXT
The purposes of MIVIT is building the "house of memory",
unique worldwide, that elevates and occupy the territory of
memories, growing over time and space.
MIVIT will traces the different historical periods and the
evolution of memory as a need to respond to the "duties" of
"never forget.“
Hypothesizing a development over time, you can think of plot
as a nearly circular path, moving from the symbolic
representation of the space on the basis of "points of
interest" (Piazza Fontana, Stazione Bologna, Piazza della
Loggia etc. With international quotes, eg. On September 11,
the Atocha Station, The Beslan School).
Consequently, the Museum will generate an interpretation
using also the tools of semiotics: Artifacts, photographs,
newspapers, videos, historical documents, testimonies of
survivors, family members of the victims and movies.

MIVIT has chosen the narrative as a privileged way to
engage the public, in a continuous shift from observer to
actor; through a way absolutely adherent to the story, but the
fact of the stories that the visitor will be a participant in the
Memory: sometimes in a detached and passive, sometimes in
an exciting and engaging.
For these reasons, the technologies that will be used during
the visit, will be used to stage places of choral participation
for the public. While insights and more detailed information
and personal, as well as being provided in special areas of
exposure, they can be developed through modern means and
Language Network.
In addition, visitors will be given the opportunity to leave their
witness and tell real stories.

Likely, these testimonials, can also be left in different
languages and then, in relation to its potential development
and rooting, the MIVIT could be as replicable model on an
international scale to discover the different identities that are
slowly losing.
Appropriate synergies will be put in place for the various
activities of the project, for the services to be carried out, for
training, for teaching achievements, for the promotion and
planning of all communication actions.
THE EXIBITION MEMORY
The achievement of MIVIT’s strategic and operational
objectives, It is conditional on the realization of an asset and
promotional communications coordinated international. This
making it possible to give maximum visibility to the cultural
system in the territory of the Participating Countries and
reference, and to increase recognition of the MIVIT as an area
that offers a bidding system memory and cultural quality.
The promotional plan also wants to have a dual purpose: to
promote the approach and knowledge of the memory-
territorial resources by the international community and
achieve maximum visibility in the short and medium term.
For these reasons, the communication strategy of the system
is structured around three objectives: promotion to Italy, one
to Europe and the marketing efforts in the 5 continents

WEB PROMOTION
This action involves the construction of traditional and innovative
promotional events via the web can provide all the information and content
needed about the system memory-Cultural Assets, that are part of the
events that characterize itself.
In a logic of construction of the coordinated project, these virtual tools can
be connected to the portals of the states involved and that of other entities
Partner, inside a dedicated area as:
• designed with a logic of communication both to the Italian community,
and internationally: in this regard will be made in Italian, English, Russian,
French, German, Spanish and Mandarin.
• updated for the duration of the various exposures and subsequent
stages, through the timely insertion of events, news and the like that relate
to the System Memory-Culture

The dedicated web space, through a view to monitoring and
control of the instrument, will be equipped with software that
will calculate the virtual inputs in the website, analyzing,
among other data, the area of origin of users, the time spent
on the portal itself and the individual pages and those which
are most sought after.
In this way the system will have a careful check, accurate,
timely and up to date inputs.
WEB PROMOTION
The actions of corporate image that will be treated by the
international press are related to:
• Creation of a database of all the useful contacts to spread
the news about a capillary projects dedicated to different
exposures of MIVIT
• publication of informative articles on the major local
newspapers
• creating pages on major social networks (Facebook, Twitter,
etc.) to promote the initiative to disseminate what has been
achieved thanks to innovative tools, used by segments of the
population between 18 and 60 years old, so even reach users
not directly involved in the project
• newsletter service for operators and users that request it

CONFERENCE PRESENTATION

It provides for the organization of a conference for
stakeholders outlining the MIVIT, resources and potential of
the Museum System.
This conference will have a project structure targeted to the
involvement of cultural institutions and the National and
Foreign (Always in a constructive logic of long relationships
and ongoing) in order to achieve cultural networking
activities.
There will be a short workshops, following to presentation of
MIVIT by all the actors involved and the authorities, and some
group work aimed at presenting best practices in the field of
culture and innovation and launch opportunities for
constructive collaboration.
ACTION TO SCHOOL
One of the first communication channels identified, for its
importance and relevance in the Italian territory are: the
“school environment and the different associations (cultural
associations....). These might be of support to the
development and coordination of some activities of the
Museum project, with a view to participatory management of
cultural heritage.
To interact with these key channels will be set up:
• Lab and teaching tools with original matters and digital
sources on memory and terrorism tragedies
• Visit planning through movies and multimedia tools

Il MIVIT nasce dalla fusione delle sinergie di Marco Falvella, Presidente dell’AIVIT, Associazione Internazionale
Vittime del Terrorismo, e dell’Ing Fabio Guido.
Passione e pragmatismo hanno contribuito a creare uno strumento comunicativo veicolo di obiettivi importanti e
lungimiranti.
La condivisione del dolore e la compassione sono visti non come l’elemento di convergenza delle sensibilità della
massa, ma bensì come sprone potente rivolto alla catalizzazione dell’attenzione dell’uomo e delle Istituzioni verso
un problema di dimensioni mondiali.
La conoscenza e la divulgazione su vasta scala rappresenta la lotta che l’uomo intraprende contro l’anti-uomo.
L’arma utilizzata è la “PAROLA”, fonte di ogni conoscenza.
Dare voce a coloro che sanno usare lo strumento più potente al mondo per farsi portavoce di un messaggio di
miglioramento dell’umanità.
Questo è il contributo che ciascuno di noi può dare, questo è il contributo che ciascuno deve dare. Il “dente di
Leone” o “Soffione”, simbolo del MIVIT, ci ricorda che la vita è effimera, ma per noi è anche il simbolo della
nascita e della speranza, portata dal vento, forte come la nostra passione e la nostra forza di andare avanti,
