For anyone who ever wanted to experience and discover Europe‘s most beautiful side, our team and members of the Diplomats Society network have created a very unique and creative tour route through picturesque landscapes for you to relish every moment.
Every day of the tour starts with a tour intro where the team and all the participants will come together and also take a daily group photo.
The about 1.200 km guided Alpine Tour provides numerous unique locations and exciting activities, incl. entrance fees and without extra costs for the provided services. Enjoy the tour to the full and free from cares. Take the opportunity to capture the most beautiful places in Europe, generating unforgettable memories and immortalize those days in the Dolomites Alps
landscapes and the magic of the pure nature.
With the start of the tour, the exclusive sports cars incl. consumptions and insurance (for 2 guests per car) will be provided to you. There will be daily vehicle distributions so that all participants can experience and benefit
from the advantages of the individual sports cars.

Intro Tour & Dinner Together
After the check-in from 03:00 p.m. at The Charles Hotel Munichyou will get the latest information about the tour and accreditation.At 07:00 p.m. the Welcome & Intro Tour with the team and all participants will take place. Following the Welcome Tour, there will be an about 2 km long evening walk with a guide to the evening location at Brenner Operngrill - a restaurant recommended by the Guide Michelin. Enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner at this unique hot spot of the Munich culinary scene. Homemade pasta, as well as meat and fish served hot from the open grill in the centre of the room. Depending on the weather conditions and personal
preferences, you can return to the hotel by transfer or by foot.

Castle of the Fairytale King
The tour route leads to the south of Bavaria, to the charming bavarian village of Schwangau in the Allgäu region. In Schwangau, enjoy the exclusive stopover at one of the most famous castles worldwide: the Neuschwanstein Castle. It is one of the most popular of all the palaces and castles in Europe. Every year millions of people visit the castle of King Ludwig II - „the castle of the fairy-tale king“. Experience a private tour through the world-renowned castle. After the tour, there will be a lunch at the foot of the castle.

The Top of Germany
From Schwangau, the tour continues in the direction of the Austrian-German border with passing the Zugspitze. Experience what it feels like to have Germany at your feet - at the Zugspitze, the top of Germany. With precisely 2.962 metres above sea level, it is the highest mountain in Germany and home to three glaciers and Germany’s highest ski resort. There is an impressive 360° panorama right at the top of the Zugspitze, with extensive views
over 400 mountain peaks in four countries.

The last destination of the Day 2 will be Kitzbuehel. The sports capital in the heart of the Alps combines tradition and lifestyle as charming as hardly any other city. The city is famous for the unique charm, as well as the energy of the city and the top hotel industry and catering alike. Kitzbuehel is the celebrity hot spot in the Alps.

On Day 3, the tour route will continue and takes you through the Großglockner Pass, the highest mountain in Austria and one of the most iconic passable routes, through the southern Alps to Italy, with a stopover at the famous summer and winter sport resort Sexten.

Climbing up the Glockner
The tour route leads to the highest paved mountain pass - the Großglockner Pass. The alpine high road is named after the Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria with 3.798 metres. There will be a stopover at the small municipality Seidlwinkl. From there, it continues along the mountain roads, visiting the remarkable lookout point Franz-Josefs-Höhe and passing the astonishing Drei Zinnen, one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps with its
three distinctive battlement-like peaks.

Jewel of the Italian Alps
At Day 3 the accommondation will be at the exquisite Cristallo, the Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Cortina d‘Ampezzo. Cortina d‘Ampezzo | Passo GiauPasso Campolongo | Passo Gardena | Bozen | Meran
Day 4 of the tour route will continue from Cortina d‘Ampezzo to the Passo Giau, a high mountain pass in the province of Belluno in Italy. From there, the route will take you through the high mountain pass Passo Campolongo in Trentino. This road is link with another high mountain pass on the tour route - the impressive Passo Gardena. From the road of the Passo Gardena, the route will lead to Bozen, the capital city and by far the largest city of the province of South Tyrol. Bozen is the bridge between North and South, and the confluence of Italian and German-Austrian culture. From there,
the route leads to Meran, a town best known for its spa resorts.

The journey to Meran
Inhaling the Dolomites beauty and discovering 100s of corners on Day 4, the tour route leads in the direction of Meran. There will be breathtaking moments while passing the mountain roads of the Falzarego Pass in the province Belluno and the Würzjoch in the province of South Tyrol. Experience the famous Sella group, a plateau-shaped massif in the Dolomites mountains of northern Italy. The Sella is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. Discover the high mountain roads of Campolongo Pass and Sellajoch - the Sella Pass between Trentino and South Tyrol. At an elevation of 2.136 metres above sea level, the route takes you over the high mountain road at the spectacular
Grödnerjoch, also known as the Gardena Pass.

The home of wine
The tour route through the South of South Tyrol leads to the wine-growing estate Rametz Castle. The Castle is located on a hill formed by glacial deposits. With the dinner location at this historic seat there will be a fine wine tasting of the most noble and extremely high-quality grapes. Approximately 10 hectares of vines under cultivation belong to Rametz Castle. With the exceptional position the Guyot vines, which are tended with loving care, produce first-rate grapes. In combination with the most modern cellar technology they create top quality wines. Afterwards, to complete the whole, there will be a dinner at the Castle restaurant. Experience an extremely relaxed charm, typical of Tyrolean taverns. Enjoy local
delicacies and a range of international dishes.

Nature meets the City
The accommondation for Day 4 and Day 5 will be in the heart of Meran, at the luxurious Park Hotel Mignon. Only a 5 minute walk from the city centre and amidst greenery. At Hotel Mignon you will have plenty of space and even your own park centrally located in Meran. Nowhere else, are the Mediterranean nature and lifestyle as close together as here. Enjoy the big wellness area on 1200 sq with indoor swimming pool connected with the outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool with saltwater and massage chairs. Take a break at
the sauna pavilion with refreshing, vital fragrances and steams.

Meran | Stelvio Pass | Umbrail Pass | Meran
With the starting point in Meran, the tour route of Day 5 will take you to the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps and the second highest in the Alps - the impressive Passo Stevio. The Passo Stelvio is located at the Ortler Alps, in northern Italy, on the border to Schwitzerland. From the Stelvio‘s western ramp, the route takes you to the Passo dell‘Umbrail - the highest paved road in Schwitzerland. After the breathtaking journey through the highest mountain roads the tour route will lead you back to Meran.

Peak of three languages
An exciting sunrise tour towards the Stilfser Joch, also known as the Stelvio Pass, will provide an enjoyable start for Day 5. Located in northern Italy on the border to Schwitzerland, it is the highest paved mountain road in the Eastern Alps and the second highest in the Alps. The Three Languages Peak above the pass is named such because this is where the Italian, German and Romansh languagesmeet. Northwards from the western ramp runs the Umbrail Pass With an elevation of 2.501 metres above sea level, the high mountain pass is the highest paved road in Schwitzerland. Experience the
beautiful nature with this visit of the swiss mountain landscape.

Fine dining at Sissi
On Day 5, there will be a visit at the exquisite Restaurant Sissi of Andrea Fenoglio in Meran. South Tyrol now has 26 Michelin stars across 19 restaurants, making it Italy’s most foodie region. Located in the centre of Meran, Restaurant Sissi, has one Michelin Star for its avant-garde Germanic-Italian fusion. The homely, minimalist restaurant serves food which feels healthy, while their traditional smoked mackerel and apple starter is beautifully crisp and fresh. This is elegant food which can fuel a day of driving and hiking. The chandeliers, retro-style flooring and decor at this Art Nouveau restaurant make it a real gem. The cuisine is constantly evolving to provide new and colourful interpretations of old traditional recipes.

Meran | Passo RomboSoelden | Scharnitzpass | Munich
On the final day, the tour route continues from Meran and leads you to the Passo Rombo, the high mountain pass that creates a link through the Ötztal Alps along the border between Austria and Italy. From there, the tour route leads you to popular ski and winter sport resort Soelden. With over two million per year, the municipality of Soelden is one of the most visited Austrian tourist destinations. The stopover is complemented with an exclusive lunch at the Ice Q restaurant, the iconic location from the „James Bond 007 - Spectre“ movie. From Soelden, the route will take you to the Scharnitzpass, a narrow section in the Northern Limestone Alps, on the Austrian-German border between Bavaria and Tyrol. From the Scharnitzpass the tour route concludingly leads you back to the state of Bavaria
and ends with the arrival in Munich.

Top Mountain X Cross Point
The tour route leads to Hochgurgl, at the foot of the Timmelsjoch(Passo Rombo) mountain road, that connects South Tyrol and North Tyrol. Enjoy a stopover at the prestigious Top Mountain X Cross Point - the highest motorbike museum in Europe. Located at the most attractive route over the Alps, the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road, in a building of stunning architectural design and surrounded by the impressive panorama of the Ötztal Alps. The building with its wooden facade fits harmoniously into the alpine landscape. It houses a unique collection of classical motorbikes and antique cars. Enjoy the gorgeous panoramic view at 2.175 m
above sea level from the terrace of the museum.

Lunch at Ice Q
At Day 6, the route takes you high above the vibrant hotspot of the Alps. On top of the Gaislachkogl, with 3.048 metres above sea level and with a spectacular mountain panorama in the backdrop, a authentically unique gourmet temple sits enthroned - the ice Q. The ice Q embodies more than the philosophy of pleasure. You can enjoy a new highlight in this phenomenal scenery. An impressive standard in wine and cuisine. Anyone who has ever been on the luxurious terrace at ice Q will have been rendered speechless. You can feel the power of the Ötztal Alps and anyone who has experienced the uniqueness of this location, will not be surprised that James Bond himself was impressed, during filming for the film

Visiting James Bond
Next to the impressive ice Q, you can experience a unique attraction that the world has never seen before - the 007 ELEMENTS cinematic installation. Located on the summit of Gaislachkogl at 3.050 m above sea level, but hiding inside the mountain in the true style of a secret agent. Not only 007 fans are thrilled by the official Bond Location with its dramatic architecture and brilliant staging. The cinematic installation combines the creative knowhow of the film set designers and the innovative spirit of Bergbahnen Sölden. You can go on a journey through various galleries right into the world of the world‘s most famous spy. Video installations, sound effects, interactive stations and original Bond gadgets inspire all senses. Return Journey
After the unique stopover at the Gaislachkogl and visiting the impressive Bond Location, the tour route leads to the winter sports center and one of the major tourist resorts in Austria - Seefeld in the Innsbruck Land district. With more than one million overnight stays each year, it is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations. Seefeld is located northwest of Innsbruck, on a plateau between Wetterstein mountains and the Karwendel. From there, the route continues towards Mittenwald in Bavaria. South-east of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald is located in the Valley of the river Isar. At the end of route, you will eventually arrive in Munich at the Charles Hotel. There you will return the tour vehiclesand come together for the last time. This will be the end of the
Alpine Tour 2019.
