55TH JAZZ A JUAN 2015

The longest running jazz festival in Europe and member of the International Jazz Festivals Organization which unites the biggest festivals in the world, the international jazz festival of Antibes Juan-les-Pins «Jazz à Juan» is an integral part of French and European cultural heritage, essential through its outstanding influence, making it one of the most prestigious and efficient means of communication for Antibes Juan-les-Pins and the French Riviera on an international level.

True to its tradition of being simultaneously chic, elitist, popular but also highly varied, since 1960 «Jazz à Juan» has been presenting all forms of jazz. Swing, be-bop and post-be-bop, gospel and roots, soul, funk and rock, African, European and American, contemporary and «New Orleans»... The terms swing and the audience changes. Younger than ever, on the search, curious and moving, this is the very essence of the musical style’s irrefutable popularity.

«Jazz à Juan» is evolutionary, or in other words optimistic, intuitive, nonconformist, avant-gardist, universalist, synergistic, culturalist, environmentalist, humanist, intimist, modernist, mutationist, mutualist, progressive, retrofuturist... While celebrating her 55th anniversary, «Jazz à Juan» retains all the visceral instinct of her own legend, forged over the course of the decades.

This year once again, as jazz and its close musical relatives cyrstallise into rare forms, the festival is more than ever open to artistic expression, welcoming many legendary figures who come to perform their most recent hits to the public.

VADEL

Trumpet and piano at the music school from the age of six, guitar at the school of (good!) life from the age of twelve, a guitar which quickly became his instrument of choice... Passionate about music, Adam Vadel grew up to the sounds of funk, soul and rock, listening to Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Prince. With a solid base of musical references, he was still in high school when he decided to found his first group under his own name, in which he sang and played guitar. During a rehearsal at their studio, the young group caught the attention of a person close to Philippe Manœuvre, who programmed them to play at the evenings «Rock’n’Roll Fridays» at Gibus. At the age of fifteen, he recorded and self-produced his own album «Vadel» which gained him recognition by a record label, giving him the possibility of developing himself as an artist and playing at Montreux Jazz Festival. During this period, he performed as the support band for internationally renowned artists (Iggy Pop, Joe Cocker, Pink and INXS) and played together with Carlos Santana, for whom he is performing the opening act of his 2015 tour. Second album and first single: «Adam & Eve».

CHARLES PASICharles Pasi is a rising star. He grew up in Paris, but this young writer-composer-performer-instrumentist spent many summers across the Atlantic listening to Miles Davis, Otis Redding, Ray Charles and Bob Dylan, who all forged his identity. His music comes from deep within, featuring arrangements full of passion and enthusiasm, combining influences, breaking with conventions, navigating, exploring. Not forgetting the very beautiful harmonica solos, an instrument which he adopted at age seventeen in a spirit of rebellion and which he masters to perfection, always keeping it close to hand. Charles Pasi enjoys travelling, seeing borders fall away, identities which mingle, blues, jazz, soul, classical music, in short every kind of music which brings warmth to the heart. These voyages shaped his youth and honed his talent. As the fruit of a generation obsessed with speed, superficiality and technology, like a craftman he prefers to learn forgotten secrets. On stage, he’s a real performer, praised by a certain Archie Shepp, “a Mediterranean man with seductive eyes who sings like a black American and plays jazz and rock melodies equally well”.

Last year, invited to the Jazz Off fringe festival, he earned frenzied applause and had all the media talking about him. This year he is on the stage he rightfully deserves, in the Gould pine grove.

CARLOS SANTANAIt is sometimes a challenge to pinpoint the key element of a career, especially when we’re talking about artists who have remained at the top of the charts for decades while embarking on numerous musical adventures.Carlos Santana inflamed the early 1970s by merging rock and Latin rhythms at Woodstock and on legendary albums such as Abraxas. As an admirer of the musical revolution sparked off by Miles Davis and John Coltrane, he decided to incorporate elements of jazz music into the sounds of his band, before returning to the spicy sounds of Cuban rhythms. And yet one note is all you need to recognise him; a single note says it all: THE Santana sound is dinstinctive and unique.

An incredible guitarist, an accomplished musician with undeniable charisma, during forty years of career Carlos Santana has sold over one hundred million albums and performed before more than more than one hundred million spectators. Santana has gained ten Grammy® Awards and three Latin Grammy® Awards, a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and was classed 15th in the top one hundred best guitarists of all time by the magazine Rolling Stone. In him, passion and melody, genius and talent are all rolled into one, with music the expression of his soul and heart. His new work, «Corazón», his very first Latin album (RCA/Sony Latin Iberia), is already certified U.S. Latin Double Platinum. «If history can lead the next generations of musicians to continue to act, change and create, to be inspired and hunger for spirituality, well then, so much the better, because that’s what I have aimed at myself.»

His « Jazz à Juan » concerts: 1988, 1991, 1993, 2011.

GOGO PENGUIN

They met at the Royal Northern College of Music and formed their band in Manchester in 2012. After a first album acclaimed by the British critics, GoGo Penguin are now unanimously recognized as the rising stars of the English jazz scene, having won the Barclaycard Mercury Prize for best album of the year 2014 with their new opus “V2.0”, on which the suave trances of this trio - strongly approved by Jamie Cullum and Gilles Peterson - harmonise in an impressive way, like their glorious Scandinavian elders E.S.T.

Clear and refined notes, a perfectly weightless pitch, great musical talent, unpredictable rhythms, catchy melodies, powerful bass, very rousing riffs… Chris Illingworth at the piano, Nick Blacka on bass and Rob Turner on drums turn up the volume for their riffs, break-beats and other melodious meteorites, merging one song into the next, adding drama to their chords without ever overdoing it; the piano calls the tune but the bass and drums are never reduced to mere accompaniments. The extremely seductive universe of these three trendy boys is not to be missed! Jazz featuring pop and lingering accents now has three new ambassadors. In Juan!

First «Jazz à Juan» concert.

TIGRAN HAMASYANWithin twenty-five years he has won it all! Prizes, eternal recognition by his peers, and the necessary maturity leading him to create modern and surprising albums such as his latest work «Mockroot». Tigran, a bold and passionate young talent, the new piano star with a devilish technique, burst onto the jazz scene with fierce

genius and all the energy of youth, dazzling listeners with his musicality both spontaneous and well thought out, delicate and powerful, as well as his great charisma on stage, full of relaxed warmth. «Jazz à Juan» is delighted to welcome back this exceptional artist who, at age sixteen, won the title Jazz à Juan Revelation 2003, three years before the prestigious first prize for piano-jazz awarded by the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz.Tigran doesn’t hesitate to blend classical and contemporary music, traditional tunes and rock (passing from Satie and Bach to Art Tatum and Coltrane, from traditional Armenian music to majestic swing, not to mention Robert Plant and Jimmy Page...). People are already comparing him to Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Brad Mehldau, who incidentally have always considered him to be part of their family from the outset. Within the space of just six albums he has managed to gain the status of a confirmed international jazz star. Tigran is alive with movement, singing, playing, and when he plays he switches from an introverted, Glenn Gould style position to the dashing stances of a hard-rocker. Yet nothing is over the top, everything is sincere and generous. In short, a very great man for a very great concert!

AVISHAI COHENAs the worthy successor of Charles Mingus, mentored by Chick Corea, Avishai Cohen remains now more than ever one of the most influential musicians on the current jazz scene. He is an untiring explorer, always ready to shift the boundaries between styles, and he is universally recognized as a gifted jazzman offering great variety, drawing inspiration from Middle East music as well as Latin rhythms and pop. This talented man has already won over the Gould pine grove with his charms, and he will be back for the 55th anniversary of «Jazz à Juan».

An instrumentist, composer and singer, Avishai Cohen always expresses his free spirit, embracing Eastern and Latin influences, going as far as to experiment with classic music, flamenco and pop! Like Stevie Wonder or Gabriel Fauré, he stands out from the crowd and has given brilliant performances alongside Brad Mehldau, Roy Hargrove, Herbie Hancock, Bobby McFerrin, Paquito D’Rivera and even Alicia Keys. His widely varied style is evident! Through past and present he is one of those musicians who create the future of jazz, which remains a matter from which anything can be moulded, «a jazz with the lyrical tone of Coltrane, with inventive deconstruction of the classics… The result is genius yet with no intent to demonstrate, intense through its collective energy and captivating through the highly varied approach without any loss of cohesion». HERBIE HANCOCK & CHICK COREA

Two jazz greats together again on the stage of the Gould pine grove! This is the chance to witness a major moment of musical complicity between these two unrivalled masters of improvisation: Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. For over fifty years, these two artists have never ceased to innovate and reinvent the piano. Their paths have crossed many times, giving birth to exceptional and intense moments of music such as the live album: «An Evening With Herbie Hancock & Chick Corea: In Concert».

The show which Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock are offering, playing face to face on their grand pianos and sending rhythms back and forth at a frenzied pace, is exceptional thanks to the way in which they embrace jazz in its multitude of forms, never ceasing to share with great happiness the fruit of their musical precocity and generosity, combining delicate fingering and phenomenal rhythmic play with apparent ease. To be heard in Juan, «a magnificent place where all the musicians in the world dream of performing» (to quote Herbie).

Their «Jazz à Juan» concerts:

JZ QUARTET featuring COCO ZHAOAll over the world! The flirtatious beginnings have led to a lasting relationship! On 16th October last year, «Jazz à Juan» and «JZ Festival Shanghai», the leading jazz festival in China, signed a collaboration agreement centred on promoting their two events via the medias and the official websites managed by each organiser, as well as an exchange of artists between the two festivals. This year we are honoured to welcome JZ Quartet and Coco Zhao, one of the most famous jazz artists in China, grand winner of «The Voice of China».

For over ten years he has been giving musical performance evenings in Shanghai, with an extraordinary sense of rhythm and movement. He is a very capable musician, delivering a brilliant blend of American jazz, Chinese tradition, improvised European music but also Afro-Cuban influences, at the heart of an excellent international quartet composed of two Americans, Danny (double-bass) and Charlie Foldish (dm), an Israeli, Oleg Roschin (p) and an Australian, Toby Mak (tp). First «Jazz à Juan» concert.

SARAH McKENZIE«Sarah McKenzie is a musical gem. Don’t miss the chance to hear this lady live!» This recommandation was given by no other than James Morrison, Australian star of jazz music, whom «Jazz à Juan» welcomed warmly in 2008. Incidentally, Sarah McKenzie is also Australian, and she graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts and won the Jazz ARIA award (Australia’s Grammy® equivalent) for best album.

Her peers have made no mistake, as we have seen her performing beside Michael Bublé, Chris Botti, Enrico Rava and John Patitucci, as well as playing with The Boston Pops at Symphony Hall.

A voice like no other, a strong presence, superb covers of Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin and Shirley Horn, but also a true talent for composition to be discovered in Juan.

DIRTY DOZEN BRASS BANDBehind the irresistible groove of their roaring brass instruments hides the biggest musical machine of New Orleans! Like the Meters and the Neville Brothers, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band is completely worthy of this role. Created by Benny Jones 38 years ago in the historic area of Treme, the DDBB quickly became the most famous band in town, their every appearance synonymous with carnival festivities and explosive performances. Trombone Shorty, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Dr John… All these spectators fell under the spell of this fanfare at full blast which remains the ultimate reference in its style.

It’s hard to believe, when you see and hear them, that there was once a time when Brass Band music went out of fashion in New Orleans. This was in the mid-70s, shortly after the first petrol crisis. In the ensuing atmosphere of budding unrest, disco was gaining ground. This is when the band appeared, in 1977. Their genius? Revolutionising the whole style by setting off the street fanfares to the dynamic rhythms of funk, rock, soul and blues, propelled by irresistibly festive arrangements. On stages throughout the world, their six frenzied brass instruments, driven on by a guitar and drums, never fail to spice things up! The swing and groove guarantee a good mood!

RHIANNON GIDDENS

She is the new voice of America! The exceptional tessitura of her voice, her vocal range enables her to be in turns charming, seductive and flirtatious before bursting forth with a poignant gospel exhortation or giving the main track of her first album a hot and steamy feel. Her producer T-Bone Burnett doesn’t beat around the bush: «Rhiannon is the successor is a long dynasty of singers, such as Mahalia Jackson and Nina Simone.»Co-founder of «Carolina Chocolate Drops», a formation full of energy which breathes new life into blues, country and Southern folk music, this Afro-American native to North Carolina plays the violon and the banjo and has a passion for the Gaelic language, all this as an aside to her qualification from the Music school where she studied opera. With her supple voice, her haunting face and a musical elegance slipped into the notes with the superb ease of people gifted in successful crossovers, this beautiful artist will be gracing the stage of Juan, with an album whose title is a whole programme in itself: «Tomorrow Is My Turn».

First «Jazz à Juan» concert.

SNARKY PUPPYTheir groove is addictive, their compositions are prepared with great care, the soloists are inspired and their performances are passionate, while ensuring a shared party atmosphere. A concert by the Brooklyn collective «Snarky Puppy» is quite an experience. «You’ll feel an intense pleasure, from the very first minutes, but without knowing what kind of music you’re listening to. Jazz? Funk? Rock? Pop? Soul? Jazz-rock? Jazz-funk? All this rolled into one, and with a faith capable of moving mountains,» explains Frédéric Goaty (Jazzmag) enthusiastically.«Snarky Puppy» is not to be missed: the band draws both fans and discerning music lovers into a majestic

live performance, midway between composition and improvisation.Awarded the Grammy® Award last year for the best R&B performance, this vital musical axis, carried by bassist Michael League, succeeds effortlessly with its bursts of exhilarating brass instruments in defining the rules of the game: permanent renewal of its members, stage culture as its preferred place for creation, explosion of the usual stylistic boundaries in favour of an incongruous and decompartmentalised mixture of funk, jazz and soul. After having performed with Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, but also Marcus Miller, here they are for the first time on the legendary stage of «Jazz à Juan» «for your brain and body», since such is their motto!

«ZAPPA PLAYS ZAPPA»

E viva Zappa! In the 60s and 70s, Frank Zappa, master of the six-chord, reached the heights of blissful iconoclast status. At a period when musical styles were increasing in number (and especially, becoming compartmentalised!), he made rock, jazz, classical music, contemporary sounds and rhythm & blues all work together. Nobody really knew how to categorise him. His references? The composers Edgar Varèse and Igor Stravinsky, the jazzmen Miles Davis and Charles Mingus. His polyrhythmic, harmonic, melodic, polytonal and atonal explorations were to inspire the whole sound experience of the West in the 20th century.

Who better than his own son, Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa (a.k.a. Dweezil Zappa), to cover Frank Zappa’s immense repertoire, while respecting the meticulous spirit of his music and without altering it, be it harmonically or rhythmically? Awarded a Grammy® for the best instrumental rock group in 2009, «Zappa Plays Zappa», composed of talented young musicians united for the occasion and guests who were formerly part of Frank Zappa’s team, are happy to breathe new life into this music which combines complex scores, exhilarating groove and last stands. This is the opportunity to rediscover the Master’s remarkable work, and to confirm that Dweezil too is decidedly a great guitarist.

THURSDAY 16TH JULY

THOMAS ENHCO«Talented play? You know, today there are many musicians with my technical level. So talent must be a means and not the goal.» These words were spoken by a child prodigy who began the violin at the age of three and piano at age six. Rewarded by the Victoires du Jazz in the Revelation category in 2013, Thomas Enhco, very relaxed on stage, doesn’t hesitate to speak to the audience: he names the songs he interprets and above all plays piano wonderfully. We can hear the classical masters who shaped him, but also blues, rhythms and a harmonic vocabulary which belong to jazz, as does the freshness of his music.

With a firm yet delicate touch, a sense of dynamics and nuances, the subtle use of silence, the art of creating and linking atmospheres... Thomas Enhco proves to be as skilled a melodist in his compositions as he is in the improvisations with which he enhances and extends them. His style carries all the charm of youth and so little of youth’s usual arrogance. At the dawn of a career which, as we can predict with certainty, will be outstanding, this first concert in Juan is not quite the first: at the age of nine, in 1998, he was invited to play on the stage in the pine grove by Didier Lockwood, in the presence of the great Martial Solal. In Juan, the first performance on a grand stage, and the first step in a brilliant career...

LIONEL RICHIE« All the Hits All Night Long 2015 European Tour »

Over 100 million albums sold, 22 hits ranked in the American Top Ten, five Grammy® Awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a multitude of mega-hits which have conquered the universe... Lionel Richie’s career is stunning, and it began more than forty years ago with «The Commodores», one of Motown’s most popular musical ensembles. Up until the end of the 70s, Lionel Richie ensured most of the group’s big successes, in particular the famous «Three Times a Lady». In 1980, he began a solo career, leading him to write and produce for Kenny Rogers «Lady», soar to the top of the charts in a duet with Diana Ross («Endless Love» - on the original soundtrack of the film by the same name). What came next is a real epic saga, a magical string of gems which have accompanied the lives of several generations.

An international superstar, Lionel Richie began his current tour in the USA in September 2013. Since then, he has given 70 incredible shows in stadiums and at festivals across Northern America, Oceania and Asia, earning rave reviews. The repertoire is certainly rich, ranging from «Dancing On The Ceiling», «Say You, Say Me», «Easy» to «Hello» and «All Night Long», which he performed in front of a television audience of approximately 2,3 thousand million people at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1984. Without forgetting of course the famous «We Are The World», co-written with Michael Jackson, which will certainly have the crowd singing along, joyously enthralled by the charisma of this exceptional artist.

AL JARREAUIn numerology, 5 is the symbol of freedom, change, mobility, dynamism and adventure. And the esoteric meaning of 5 is life! Al Jarreau recorded his first album, «1965», in... 1965, at the age of... 25; but it was ten years later, in... 1975 that fortune truly smiled upon him. Noticed by a Warner producer, he recorded a second album, We Got By, then, taking advantage of a first European tour, a third: Look to the Rainbow, which

gained him real recognition by the general public and earned him the title of best singer thanks to the readers of DownBeat magazine. Next came Breakin’ Away in 1981 (the year of his first concert in Juan), which made him one of the most popular American jazz singers of the planet.Al Jarreau plays with his vocal chords in the same way that a talented gymnast uses the extreme suppleness of his body. Incredibly agile, his voice jumps in all directions like a gymnast on a trampoline, with tonic effect. One moment it will be expressing love, nestling among the notes with infinite softness, and the next it transforms itself into an astounding scat, becoming percussions or double-bass, yet still keeping the same disconcerting

accuracy and swing. His hits and above all his essential contribution in introducing rhythm to the vocal range have gained him many fans and seven Grammy® Awards in the three categories jazz, pop, and R&B! He is back this year with My Old Friend, a new album which pays tribute to the recently departed George Duke, king of the keyboards, putting the final note to their friendship which lasted for close to fifty years.

His «Jazz à Juan» concerts: 1981, 1986, 1990, 1993, 1998, 2008.

MELODY GARDOTThe astonishing path of Melody Gardot has already been covered at length, since the terrible accident which left her between life and death at the age of nineteen, up until her astonishing revival in which music played

a major therapeutic role. Straightaway, in 2010, she impressed the «Jazz à Juan» audience with her unusal voice and maturity, both sophisticated and profound, enticing and responsive. Then she disappeared. «I understood that you can never repeat what you’ve already done the first time. If music were a painting, you can only paint it once, it will never be quite the same.»And so Melody set off on a journey, letting herself be blown here and there by breezes of music, enriching her repertoire with the colours of Lisbon, Salvador da Bahia... Notes held back, sensual murmurs, breathing which becomes song in itself... Melody Gardot must be heard to be believed. Her music with its delightful melodies discreetly enters your intimacy. Her mysteriousness adds to her beauty. «What does Melody do?», asks Michel Contat (Télérama): «To be precise, she gets us in the mood; she gives herself up to what, in terms of love, would be called foreplay, a term which is quite apt in music too. It’s a real sensual ceremony to which she is personally inviting each one of us, and nobody could even consider offering any resistance.»

KENNY GARRETT QUINTET

Kenny Garrett decidedly remains one of the best tooters in contemporary jazz! He feels as much at home with the most complex forms of hard bop as he does with the smoothest jazz, and is capable of being wonderfully

exuberant and profoundly spiritual. Garrett delivers music that is never nostalgic, jazz in perpetual progression, just as his peers always taught him. His peers? Miles Davis for one (Kenny was the last person to play by the side of this legendary trumpeter), who vouched for him by declaring that he had never been so impressed by a saxophonist since Coltrane.

After having been taken under the wing of the latest jazz greats (besides Miles, he was mentored by Art Blakey and Freddie Hubbard), he himself is now the one passing on the torch. But he doesn’t content himself with simply spending his time managing this prestigious heritage: with his recent recordings «Seeds from the underground» (2012) and «Pushing the world away» (2014), he has confirmed his remarkable talent as a composer, yet without ever turning his back on the popular music of his period, feeling just as comfortable in the context of funk and rhythm‘n’blues as he does with pop. This jazz great will take your breath away and he is now more than ever an artist in his prime.

His «Jazz à Juan» concert: 1996.

MARCUS MILLERwith Very Special Guest IBRAHIM MAALOUF

Crowned with two Grammy® Awards, but also an Edison Award for Lifetime Achievement in Jazz and a «Victoire du Jazz» award in 2013 for the whole of his career in France, Marcus Miller is not only a unique bassist and an extraordinary multi-intrumentalist, he is also a composer and a producer gifted with exceptional talent. The legendary album «Tutu» composed and produced for Miles Davis secured him world fame when he was only 25 years old. Over the past two years, he has devoted his time to writing new compositions inspired by his role as spokesperson for the UNESCO Slave Route project.

Headlining at «Jazz à Juan» in 2009 with Stanley Clarke and Victor Wooten, ambassador for the 2010 edition with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Monte-Carlo, back in 2011 for a superb «Tribute to Miles», then in 2013 with a new album «Renaissance», Marcus Miller, ever since 1996 and his first appearance on stage in Juan, has never cease to surprise and astonish spectators, giving his all and winning them over. He is returning to the stage of the Gould pine grove with the compositions of his new album, blending jazz, funk and African rhythms, and Very Special Guest: Ibrahim Maalouf.

His «Jazz à Juan» concerts: 1996, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013.

Gospel Night - ecumenical celebration

AMERICAN GOSPEL Jr

Originating from the famous show «100 voices of Gospel» back in 1998, American Gospel Jr - one of today’s most original and acclaimed gospel bands - has never ceased to travel the world to share their love for music, for their fellowmen and for Gospel. Their concert is far more than a simple concert: it is the meeting of form and depth, body and soul, with all the talent and enthusiasm required to make their show a moment of a rare intensity.

Combining tradition and modernity, jazzy rhythms and rich singing, coloured with that religious fervour from which Gospel first sprang, the group happily performs the classics of their repertoire, as well as the eternal and ever popular hits such as «When the Saints Go Marching In» and «Oh Happy Days» and lesser known texts, set to rhythms full of blues, rhythm‘n’blues or soul music. The group is directed by Reverend Jean Carpenter, a generous artist with an impressive vocal range and just as much intense conviction.

JAZZ OFF 2015!

Just like Avignon and from the very beginning, following on from those legendary and confidential jam sessions of the early years, «Jazz à Juan» has its «Off festival». During the festival, all types of jazz can be heard in the streets of Antibes Juan-les-Pins. The whole town grooves to the rhythm of these sunny celebrations.Because «Jazz à Juan» is more than just the major concert-events given in the legendary Gould pine grove.«Jazz à Juan» is a Festival in all its splendour, a unique kind of party, forming a triple unity of time, place and action. The time is one of holidays. The place, Antibes Juan-les-Pins, where the average number of residents and tourists climbs to 220,000 in summer. The action, the multitude of events surrounding the traditional concerts on the main stage.

« Jazz Off » means:

• 2 open-air stages place De-Gaulle in Antibes and in the little pine grove in Juan-les-Pins, welcoming around 2,000 people each day.

• 1 Jazz Club stage each evening after the concerts, in the legendary setting «Carrefour de la Joie», one of the famous places of Juan nightlife immortalised by Sidney Bechet.

• 1 evening «Best Of the Off festival», with around 100 musicians performing in the streets and on the squares of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, to thousands of spectators making no secret of their zest for life and their desire to share jazz in all its forms...

• Exhibitions.

• Musical entertainment provided by the partner establishments (restaurants, bars, beaches, hotels...).

• 2 parades per day by a marching band in the streets of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins.

Each year, counting the «In» and «Off» festivals, «Jazz à Juan» attracts well over 50,000 spectators.
