machine and consumable manufacturers and suppliers with other industrial players (maintenance technicians and managers, production managers, etc.).
We strongly believe in sharing information around our business activity: industrial equipment maintenance. Our goal is to allow fair exchanges between technicians and suppliers through our platform, in order to avoid product obsolescence and disinformation, while allowing everyone to express their opinion.
We know that whenever a company purchases a new piece of equipment, maintenance technicians usually waste valuable time filling out the information provided by the manufacturer in their CMMS. With Mobility Work, technicians are able to duplicate in one click several fields from a database provided by the manufacturer with technical information, documents, ranges of maintenance interventions, spare parts, etc.

WHY MOBILITY WORK?

Mobility Work’s idea came about, because we were ourselves in need of modernity and performance. Mobility Work was created within an industrial group specialized in metal transformation. Back then, the plant faced a lot of difficulties with the implementation of a new CMMS solution, which was expensive, far from being user-friendly, and provided very low added value. This software required a lot of long training sessions, and was very different from the applications people are used to use in their daily lives; it also required to be set up by a skilled IT team. After a 6-month long and unsuccessful implementation attempt, another solution was needed: this is how Mobility Work was officially launched in May 2016.
The first idea was to create a modern, simple and mobile tool: Mobility Work found its inspiration in everyday life and in globally famous mobile apps. Its user-friendly interface enables users to master all the features within one day. We strongly believe that there is a need for real time exchanges.
The main innovation was to create the first maintenance social network. Many technicians all around the world, whatever their industry, are working on the same machines and share the same issues. We decided to connect users anonymously with suppliers and service providers in order to share expertise, information and spare parts.
Users are at the heart of our product, and we work everyday to provide the most satisfying experience. The Mobility Work team is applying Agile methodology (stand ups, mobility, flexibility, new management tools) to product development, and provides weekly updates which may be carried at the initiative of the users.
Mobility Work enables to gather all the maintenance information in one place, and allows users to gain time as well as efficiency. Mobility Work belongs to a new generation of innovative startups referred to as French Tech, and we are proud to have taken part in international tech events, such as CES Las Vegas in 2016 and 2017, and Web Summit 2016 in Lisbon.
The Mobility Work community is increasingly growing: there are currently more than 6,000 users in more than 80 countries from very different sectors such as metal transformation, railway, automotive, food industry, chemistry, pharmacy industry, and many more.
The next step for Mobility Work is to reach 10 millions hours of interventions by the end of the fiscal year. The startup also set itself the goal to reinforce its IT and commercial team, and to develop other aspects of the platform, starting with the suppliers and service providers interface.
