RESOLUTE DTG INK LIMITED ANNOUNCES AJS EMBROIDERY SERVICES

LIMITED AS THE SOLE DISTRIBUTOR FOR THE R-JET 4 DIGITAL TEXTILE

PRINTERS AND RANGE OF TEXTILE INKS IN THE UK AND IRELAND.

Following Resolute’s phenomenal first year in the direct to garment market and highly successful

attendance at Printwear and Promotion Live 2011, an exciting new partnership has emerged. Linking with

the UK’s longest established embroidery machine supplier, AJS Embroidery Services Limited, a new way of

doing business is coming. The two businesses are working together to bring direct to garment to a wide

range of new users and dispel some of the myths about the difficulties of successful direct to garment

printing.

The R-Jet 4 textile printer has been built using the knowledge of experts who have been involved with

direct-to-garment printing for many years. They have taken away all the bells and whistles that are no

longer needed with today’s advanced ink formulations and made the R-Jet 4 Ingeniously Simple. The R-Jet 4

is superior in build quality, reliability and price. It is the only portable direct to garment printer available on

the market, coming complete with its own transport cradle, and uses a unique closed shirt box design

allowing garments to be held in place when printed rather than flapping around. The shirt box design makes

loading and unloading simple and quick and easily copes with thicker garments such as sweatshirts and

hoodies. Using the ZeroAlign© and Zero Height© patented transport system the R-Jet 4 differs from all

other printers.

The accompanying R-Jet 4 Rip© focuses strongly on essentials to maximize a high quality output. The easy-

to-handle software offers a high-performance import-functionality of all common vector and image files

and abstains from any extensive graphic features, which are these days offered in standard Photoshop and

many other software brands.

All this coupled with Resolute’s unique inks which have been developed using unique particle repulsion

technology provide a fantastic package. Resolute White Ink is much less prone to settling compared to

other ink brands without compromising on other physical properties such as run ability or opacity. Resolute

White Ink has managed to keep a low viscosity ink system to ensure smooth flow through Epson piezo

nozzles, with an ultra low settle formulation. The result for the user is less nozzle blockage and ultimately

less wastage of ink on expensive cleaning cycles. Resolute White Ink not only runs well in the printer, it

produces brilliant white prints without compromising on the flexibility of the cured image. Images are

durable and stretchy with much lower cracking under wash than other brands of ink.

Resolute’s CMKY inks are developed with both wash fastness and colour gamut in mind. The inks, when

cured produce an extremely durable image and are capable of producing vibrant colours on both light and

dark garments. When used alongside Resolute white ink, the images produced are both vibrant, wash fast

and durable.
