You are invited to study with world class instruc- tors who are exclusive to Chamber Music Camp of Portland and Stradivari Academy. Students will participate in both small chamber groups and chamber orchestra. Master classes will be taught by Chamber Music Camp instructors, members of the Florestan Trio, and musicians from Chamber Music Northwest’s Protégé Project. Specialized classes, such as audition techniques and preparation, music theory, 20th-century music and skills in working with an accompanist, will be offered. Chamber Music Camp of Portland has four unique programs: Music and Art, Advanced Chamber Music, Overnight Program, and our new Stradivari Academy.

• A full day program from 9:30-4:00 for ages 7-14.

• Students participate in chamber music, orchestra and �ne arts.

• Daily coaching from our award-winning faculty.

• Afternoon fine arts program with choice of electives.

• Students will develop their technical ensemble and leadership skills.

• Final performance Friday 5:30 pm.

OVERNIGHT ADVANCEDCHAMBER MUSIC

• Our exciting Overnight Program is open to Advanced Chamber Music students ages 12 and up.

• Evening bonus activities!

• “Play with the Pros” – play chamber music side- by-side with our prestigious faculty.

• 21st century string techniques – develop specific skills to play today’s contemporary music.

• Attend a Chamber Music Northwest concert.

• Advanced Chamber students will have the opportunity to play with Stradivari participants.

• Lodging located on University of Portland campus.

• All meals provided.

STRADIVARI ACADEMY

• For college students and very advanced high school players.

• Stradivari Chamber Orchestra will perform with solo faculty members and student solo competition winners.

• Students will rehearse daily in chamber music ensembles, receive coachings and master classes from our esteemed faculty members. There may be opportunities for one-on-one sessions with faculty.

• Stradivari Academy students often work as interns, assistant coaches and counselors for the younger students. Go to the website to apply.

ADVANCED CHAMBERMUSIC PROGRAM

• 9:30-4:00 M-F, with final concert Saturday at 1:00.

• Focused chamber music training for students ages 12-18. Younger students may be accepted, by decision of the audition committee. Advanced strings players and select advanced pianists, syllabus level 8 and above.

• Students will be challenged to expand their knowledge and understanding of chamber music literature, develop sophisticated bow strokes, learn score reading, and deepen their artistry.

• Daily coaching from our award-winning faculty.

• A variety of performance and master class opportunities.
