The World Leader in Severe Service ApplicationsThe oil and gas industry faces some of the most severe operating conditions, often in the most challenging environments. CCI has proven over the past 50 years that it has the technology and expertise to solve the sever service valves challenges across the various applications in the oil and gas industry. CCI has invested 10 years and over a million of dollars with state of art research and development to provide reliable stem packing systems that are needed to meet the tight fugitive emissions requirements.

Growing demand, ensuring containment, expert adviceFugitive emissions are leakage of volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere. Study’s by various agencies indicate that in typical oil & gas processing plants valves leak about 60-70% of the total VOC into the atmosphere. The growing demand to reduce fugitive emissions has forced environmental agencies, local EHS authorities, ISO and recognized industry leaders to develop and adopt new fugitive emission standards.

CCI is committed to reducing valve fugitive emissions and has developed associated technologies for packing systems to meet the tight fugitive emission requirements of the two predominant specifications: ISO 15848 and Shell MESC SPE 77/300/312. The core technologies developed include stem surface hardening, stem finishing and an optimized stem packing design.

LiveSealLiveSeal is an ISO 15848-1 Certified packing capable of:

Pressure: 260 barg (ANSI 1500)

Temperature: -196°C to 200°C

Emissions: Class B

Endurance: 20,000 cycles

• LiveSeal is designed to have low friction, low seal wear and increased longevity.

• No packing adjustments or maintenance is required between the valve standard maintenance intervals.

• The packing design and loading is optimized to energize the seal, maximize seal performance, and withstand operating condintions in a diverse set of applications.

AdvanSealAdvanSeal is a packing system capable of:

Pressure: 690 barg (API 10,000)

Temperature: -40°C to 200°C

Emissions: Class B

Endurance 500 cycles (ISO 15848)

20,000 cycles (Shell 77-300)

• AdvanSeal is developed for low emissions operating at ANSI 2500, API 5,000 and API 10,000 pressure classes.

• Steam coating and finishing process for low packing friction, low permeation barrier system for reduced seal wear, increased longevity, and low emissions throughout the valve maintenance cycle.

• Liquid barrier packing system, self-lubricating with optional pressure transmitter

CCI fugitive emissions experts have more than 30 years of experience in fugitive emissions reduction technologies and will recommend the most economical solution for

customer applications.
