Study’s by various agencies indicate that in typical oil & gas processing plants valves leak about 60-70% of the total VOC into the atmosphere. The growing demand to reduce fugitive emissions has forced environmental agencies, local EHS authorities, ISO and recognized industry leaders to develop and adopt new fugitive emission standards.
CCI is committed to reducing valve fugitive emissions and has developed associated technologies for packing systems to meet the tight fugitive emission requirements of the two predominant specifications: ISO 15848 and Shell MESC SPE 77/300/312. AdvanSealAdvanSeal is a packing system capable of:

• AdvanSeal is developed for low emissions operating at ANSI 2500, API 5,000 and API 10,000 pressure classes.
• Steam coating and finishing process for low packing friction, low permeation barrier system for reduced seal wear, increased longevity, and low emissions throughout the valve maintenance cycle.
• Liquid barrier packing system, self-lubricating with optional pressure transmitter
