Health and Wellbeing

With adult support, encourage your child to help you cut up some fruit for a snack.

Talk about the colour texture and smell. What does the outside and inside of the fruit look like? What is your favourite?

Maybe you could make fruit kebabs like the ones we made in nursery

Website/ App of the week

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/ordering-and-sequencing/caterpillar-ordering

Currently advise states we can go for 1 walk a day.

When you go for your walk each day see if you can spot any butterflies!

Can you practice skipping, hopping and jumping

Expressive Arts

Can you make your own caterpillar?

You could try using an empty egg box?

Perhaps you could paint or draw a beautiful butterfly and stick it in your window.

Can you crawl like a caterpillar? Pretend to fly like a butterfly.

You could even do this to some music

Numeracy

Support your child to count forwards to 10. Now try backwards. Can they count from different numbers?

Go on a number hunt around the house

Find 1 toy

Find 2 spoons

Find 3 bricks

Find 4 teddies………….

Can you say the days of the week in order? If you can remember the song teach your adult.
