Clean and SimpleDECOLAV is proud of the vast range of materials and fi nishes that we use in all of our products to give you the quality and style that every bathroom design deserves. All of our products are easy to care for and require minimal attention to keep them looking as new as the day you installed them.

Installation

When installing your glass bowl it is recommended that you keep it out of direct sources of extreme heat (such as sunlight or a radiator) and extreme cold. Extreme fl uctuations in temperature can cause the vessels to crack or shatter. When installing be careful not to apply uneven pressure on the bowl’s rim, or over-tightening your drain, as both may cause breakage at the base of the bowl.

Maintenance

DECOLAV glass vessels are formed from high-quality glass panes truly tempered by our state of the art tempering process. In order to keep your DECOLAV Translucence vessel looking clean and bright, there are a few easy steps you can take to keep yours looking new. Since water quality and hardness differ in all locations, the effects that are seen through daily use of your bowl may vary, however it is recommended that your vessel be wiped down after every use to prevent the build up of lime scale. Lime scale has the ability to dull the appearance of your vessel, as well as stain. Periodically wiping down your product will lessen or prevent these effects in the long run. Something else to keep in mind is to be careful not to drop heavy or abrasive objects into the lavatory, as doing so may cause the bowl to crack, shatter or scuff. Also abstain from using any abrasive materials to clean the surfaces of your lavatory, as this will cause unwanted scratching or scuffi ng, reducing the quality and beauty of your piece.

When cleaning glass sinks it is recommended that you utilize a damp, lint-free soft cloth. Light soap or a product such as Windex may be used in cases when water will not remove the spot. Take extra care not to use abrasive cleaners when cleaning the frosted side of certain fi nishes as this will damage the fi nish and irreparably change the fi nish of your product.

When dirt, dust or oil fi lm is adhered to the surface of acrylic resin, it is recommended that you use a soft cloth to lightly wipe down your product. The use of fl annel or non-abrasive sponges are the best to use, fresh, or lightly soapy warm water. Afterwards dry the bowl using a soft clean cloth.

There may be some hard substances contained in dirt and dust, so it is recommendable to lightly brush off the surface before wiping your lavatory with a damp cloth. This will help prevent micro-abrasion that can build up. Something else to keep in mind is to be careful not to drop heavy or abrasive objects into the lavatory, as doing so may cause the bowl to scratch or scuff.

In addition refrain from using any harsh materials to clean the surfaces of your lavatory, as this will cause unwanted scratching or scuffi ng, reducing the quality and beauty of your piece. Tooth paste should be rinsed and not wiped off the Lavatory’s surface as it is an abrasive paste and has the ability to cause scuffi ng over time. Acrylic resin is sensitive to organic solvents and acids. To ensure long lasting virility of your piece do not use such items for cleaning and care. Being a material of high weather resistance, Acrylic Resin has been known to last over 30 years in regular use with proper care and cleaning.

Any Deco Lav, Inc. ("DECOLAV") product(s), sold after June 1, 2010, will be warranted to the original end consumer to be free of true defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the consumer owns his or her home subject to the following:

• Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original end consumer must be made available to DECOLAV for all warranty claims.

• The person claiming a warranty issue must be able to establish original purchase and installation of the product.

• Authorized DECOLAV personnel have inspected the product(s) and determined the product(s) to have true manufacturing defect(s) (unless other arrangements satisfactory to DECOLAV have been agreed upon).

• Such product(s) are returned to DECOLAV (unless other arrangements satisfactory to DECOLAV have been agreed upon).

• The product must have been purchased, directly or indirectly, through an authorized DECOLAV re-seller.

This limited warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original end consumer and to the original installation of the product. This limited warranty is void if the product has been moved from its initial installation site or if ownership of the product has changed. DECOLAV’s product are produced from natural raw materials and there may be a slight color variance from product appearing in catalogs, brochures, web-sites, or product samples, or prior production. These are not examples of manufacturing defects and will not be covered under this warranty.

This limited warranty does not cover any mechanical pieces of any DECOLAV product. These mechanical pieces will be covered under a One Year Warranty, with all other terms of this warranty applying except duration. This limited warranty does not cover the fi nish, color or plating of any DECOLAV product. The fi nish, color or plating of any product will be covered under a One Year Warranty, with all other terms of this warranty applying exception duration.

If this product is used commercially or installed outside of North America, DECOLAV warrants the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of installation with all other terms of this warranty applying except duration.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY SHIPPING, MISUSE, ABUSE, ACCIDENTS, NEGLECT, UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OR ALTERATIONS, MODIFICATIONS, USE OF OTHER THAN GENUINE DECOLAV REPLACEMENT PARTS, DIRT, LIME SCALE, AND OTHER MINERALS, SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES, EXPOSURE TO MARINE AREAS, ABNORMAL USAGE, AND NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. ANY IMPROPER INSTALLATION, IMPROPER MAINTENANCE, IMPROPER HANDLING, IMPROPER AND CONTRARY USES, IMPROPER CARE AND CLEANING AND ALL ACTS BEYOND DECOLAV’s CONTROL WILL VOID THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

This limited warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. Since local building codes vary considerably, the original end consumer of the product(s) should check with a local building or plumbing contractor to ensure local code compliance prior to installation.

If you believe that you have a valid warranty claim, contact your Home Center, Dealer, Plumbing Contractor or E-tailer. Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a complete description of the problem, the product, model number, the date the product was purchased, from whom the product was purchased and the installation date and location. Upon satisfaction of each of the foregoing conditions and requirements, DECOLAV shall, at its option, either repair or replace the defective product. DECOLAV shall return any product repaired or replaced under this limited warranty to the original end consumer transportation prepaid. All Closeout/Discontinued product(s), at time of a valid warranty claim, will either be repaired or replaced with a comparable item. DECOLAV’s option to repair or replace the product under this limited warranty does not cover any cost of labor to remove or install the DECOLAV product, usage and delay time, or other costs of removal or installation whatsoever. IN NO EVENT WILL DECOLAV BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY INSTALLATION MATERIALS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COUNTER TOPS, TILES, MARBLE, GRANITE, ETC.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, ALL OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED, OR THE EXTENSION BEYOND THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
