Nebuchadnezzar has a second dream (v5) Daniel was again able to interpret the

dream when no other wise men could (v8,19-23)

Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar to repent and be kind to the oppressed so that he may remain prosperous (v27)

Instead, Nebuchadnezzar is prideful and the prophecy of the dream is fulfilled; he loses his kingdom and becomes like a beast (v30-32)

He is restored to his kingdom when he acknowledges God (v36-37)

Matthew 23:12 says: “For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted”.

vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
