Here I have carried out a questionnaire where I have asked 40 people, which will help me in creating my music magazine.

I think I will chose indie rock as a genre as its most popular and the most intriguing to me as a genre as I enjoy some of their music which will make it easier for me to research and come up with ideas.

asked in my questionnaire were people aged 18 with 45% and most were male- this may link to the preferred music genre as males are not particularly associated with pop music.

Over ¾’s attend gigs and over half attend ever 1-2 weeks which has enlightened me as I could perhaps add an aspect about gigis on the cover/contents/double page spread.

The most popular genre of article was one about an album release so I will perhaps create one myself as its most popular and will target my audience. I could feature the other closely followed popular ones on the contents page as this would be intriguing.

Here I have discovered that the most popular feature of a magazine is the colours used as they are the most recognisable and appealing to the audience so I will have to consider this as the most important aspect when making my own.
