Year 4 English w/c 25 th May 2020 This week please edit and improve your adventure story from last week based on the short film ‘Taking flight’. Then write each part in beautiful handwriting or word process to publish your adventure story. Practise all the skills you have learned so far at Harrington including: handwriting, writing checklist skills. This week please edit and improve your adventure story from last week based on the short film ‘Taking flight’. Then write each part in beautiful handwriting or word process to publish your adventure story. Writing – based on ‘Taking Flight’ (publish your Adventure Story using your edited and improved first draft)

1. Monday – write final draft of parts 1 and 2: spellings, punctuation and writing checklist skills.

2. Tuesday – write final draft of parts 3 and 4: : spellings, punctuation and writing checklist skills.

3. Wednesday – write final draft of parts 5 and design front and back covers for your story

4. Thursday – finish your story front and back cover – you have now published your adventure story.

5. Please photograph it via Dojo so we have a full class set of stories Hope you’ve enjoyed being authors of a new adventure story for children!
