Once again I have loved seeing all of your hard work over this last week you have been very busy with the activities from the pack and on purple mash, I am very proud of you all. This learning pack will cover work for the next week. To replicate your child’s school routine it would be of great benefit if the following three areas were practiced daily (these three sessions only need be around the five minute mark, short and often is the key). 1. Clever Counting: Count and clap up to 10/20 Count backwards from 10/20 to Blastoff !!! Count in Welsh up to 10/20 Count pairs to 10 using fingers (your child will show you) Recognition of number flashcards Please practice number formation using a pencil Order numbers to 5 / 10 /20 Recognise and name 2d shapes Over the Summer term I would introduce : Counting in 2’s to 20 Counting in 10’s to 100 Counting in 5’s to 50 There are lots of fab songs on You tube to enhance this learning where your child can dance along while chanting the numbers.
