Last Tuesday, the school girls soccer team travelled to Griffith, and played Hanwood Public School, in Round 6 of the NSW PSSA Girls Soccer Knockout. Although, the team lost 5 goals to nil, each player can be proud of their efforts during the game. They played with determination and never gave up. Hanwood led by 3 goals at half time. During the second half the team began to combine better and match Hanwood for most of the half. Hanwood scored two late goals in the second half. The team had scoring opportunities during the match, but were unable to capitalise on them. Thank you to the parents who assisted with transport on the day.

Overall, the team can be very pleased about winning the 3 games in the NSW PSSA Girls Soccer Knockout.

STEM – Term 3

Technology in STEM

This term in STEM, each class will be focusing on and exploring different types of digital technology

during their weekly lesson. Students will be learning how to use devices such as laptops, Bee-Bots,

computers, Spheros, Lego Wedo and iPads. Here are some photos of the students developing their

coding skills and learning how to use different digital technology devices during STEM.

Tea with the Teacher

Starting this week four, students from across the school will be invited to attend ‘Tea with the

Teacher’ which will be held each Tuesday lunch time. The students who are selected are those students

who are consistently demonstrating our school values and class values during STEM. These students will

be invited to join Miss Sutton in the STEM room to share a cup of tea/milo, some biscuits, play a board

game and listen to music.
