Pot pon fyah is a business which will be owned and operated daily by chaze dacosta.pot pon fyah will be a in the restaurant business and is focused on spreading the Jamaican food culture to tourist and may even locals .The goals of pot pon fyah is to serve original and delightful Jamaican dishes .the dishes will be prepared by our exquisite chefs, training for years to master the art of food.

JUSTIFICATION OF LOCATION

Pot pon fyah will be located on crescent moon drive Kingston.the main reason for the location is : The availability of labour Linkage industries The cost and availability of land is spectacular in the location .

SELECTION OF APPROPRIATE LABOUR

Pot pon fyah will have 10 workers .3 skilled workers,5 semi skilled workers and 2 unskilled workers . 2 of my 3 skilled workers are trained chefs and the other is a manager who has 15 years in the field .he has been known for his ability to coordinate and motivate his team. The 5 semi skilled workers are all waiters and waitresses .their responsibility is to ensure the quickest and most pleasurable service to my customers. The 2 unskilled workers are going to be janitors who will ensure that pot pon fyah meets the standards of the health trust .

SOURCES OF FIXED AND WORKING CAPITAL

Fixed capital Fixed capitals in the business are items which are likely to be permanent in the business. such as buildings and machinery, which are used for creating goods and creation of further wealth .$900,000 will be borrowed from Scotia bank for the business. POT PON FYAH will be producing locally in the country ,this is known as domestic production and will not be involved in imports or exports from foreign counties.

The measures that will be put in place to ensure the highest quality of goods for customers are as follows : Health inspectors will verify that the restaurant is at utmost perfection in the sanitary level

All raw material taken into the restaurant will be of the highest quality goods.they will be made sure to be as fresh and healthy as possible. The implementations of these methods will help boost sales as customers will feel satisfied with the tremendous service being offered to them

POINT OF SALE SYSTEM Pos systems are modern day technology which a restaurant owner may use to enter in an order for the kitchen staff and may even utilize the pos system to perform additional task such as recording inventory and labor costs.This system will help the business by telling the busy how well it is doing sales wise and financially profits .TELEPHONESThe telephone will be used to contact suppliers for raw materials and also to customers who wants carry out or to make reservations.

LINKAGE Linkage industries are industries which are connected to another, which builds relationships with other businesses .We will be involved in linkage industry .

POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH INTERNALLYPot pon fyah will be growing internally through the expansion of infrastructure .the training of employees will also be utilized to improve the business affairs .

EXTERNALLY Pot pon fyah wishes to create branches in each parish of the country once finances are met to do so .

EMPLOYEE BEHAVIOUR Employees should be respectful and pleasant at all times to customers and higher authority .they should not make personal appeals during work hours .

EMPLOYEE WORK CONDTIONS Employees should be provided with decent working area and a reasonable pay and lunch time .they shall not be over worked or mistreated by higher authority .
