several years, most notably; the increased costs of athletic scholarshipsand the need to upgrade and build better athletic facilities have dictatedthat many Universities search for constant streams of income to supporttheir student-athletes.

The Pirate Blue Athletic Fund was established in 1985 by the legendarySeton Hall alumnus Richard J. Regan, to provide support for Seton HallUniversity’s growing intercollegiate athletic programs. The generous giftsfrom Pirate Blue members have faithfully supported Seton Hall’s studentathletes for more than two decades.

Pirate Blue members directly support our programs by providing fundingfor individual sport programs, equipment, team travel and upgrades tothe athletics facilities. The generosity of our donors ensures that ourstudent-athletes are able to effectively compete in both the BIG EASTand national arenas.

Beginning with the 2007-08 men’s basketball season, Seton Hall Universitywill play our home games in the new Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Thestate-of-the-art arena is simply one of the finest sports and entertainmentcomplexes ever constructed with unsurpassed fan amenities. The PirateBlue Priority Seating System implementation will coincide with this move.Your commitment to this program will provide you with greater opportunitiesto see Seton Hall Basketball from the best seats in Prudential Center.
