The JMH Group has four acute hospitals located within a 20km radius and a total bed capacity of 645 beds in this region. City Hospital has an established and fully functional Cath Lab and Cardiac Unit with dedicated personnel and equipment. This exciting opportunity will allow you to structure your practice independently under the support of a large established Hospital Group and community of established Specialists. With a strong emphasis in culture and a team environment you will be working among passionate staff who value the welfare and respect of our patients and adopt a patient-centric approach, aiming for continued improvement/enabling a holistic approach for our patients and providing a quality service. The primary role is providing general cardiology, including interventional cardiology and heart failure management. The expectation of this role is to assist JMH in building and improving its cardiac speciality services. The ability to work in a team and high calibre communication skills are mandatory. In conjunction with hospital leadership, service physicians and marketing and develops outreach strategies to enhance referral processes. Experience and knowledge in CT coronary angiography, Echocardiography and non-invasive cardiology including Interventional Radiology is essential. Paediatric or congenital echo would also be an advantage.
