A new Luhrs 30 Open Tower is now from just $264,000 including twin shaft drive Yanmar

Prices quoted at A$1:US$1.08. As I’ve been saying for a long time, the A$ is at record highs so

the risk is all on the downside. A 10% slide in the A$ (which could happen virtually overnight) will

have much more impact on the pricing than any special package deals we can offer.

New owners Bob & Mick didn’t waste any time getting “Privateer” packed up and on a truck once

they’d made the decision to purchase her. As would be expected of a Luhrs, they have nothing but

praise for her handling and performance in the poor weather encountered off Fremantle during

their test run with the marine surveyor.

She’s already had the Nullarbor dust cleaned off and is being commissioned on the Gold Coast

prior to running up to her new home port of Mooloolaba in the next week or so.

I plan on heading up to Mooloolaba in the next few weeks to spend a few days with Bob & Mick on

“Privateer” and introducing them to near neighbours Graham & Carroll onboard “Nobby’s Way”.
