Introduction of Principal Guest -

Miss Phyllis James

Miss Phyllis James is an Old Girl and Chair of the Windsor Girls’

School Alumni. She returned to Windsor Girls’ as a Governor, serving for several years, driving and supporting school improvements.

During her career, Miss James won distinction by becoming a

Production Engineer for Trist Mouldings and Seal Ltd, before moving to Dunlop Rubber, Australia; the first woman in Great Britain and the

Commonwealth to hold such a position .

Miss James personifies everything we look for in our students and is held in such high regard that our sports hall is named after her.
