B. Carry out the following conversions
i. 25 tex to English count (Ne) ii. 40s Ne to tex and denier iii. 2 denier to tex, Ne and Nm (Metric count)
C. A fibre takes 6 g load to break. The diameter of the
fibre is 12.5 microns. Calculate the tenacity of the fibre in
i. g/denier ii. MPa (Mega Pascal)
(Density of the fibre is 1.38 g/cc) D. Yarn of 60s Ne breaks at a load of 400 g. What is the
tenacity of yarn in g/Tex and g/Denier?
