O.E. Equivalent Lower Mounting hardware Included
Vehicle age and/or environmental conditions can cause the lower strut mounting bolts to be rusted and difficult to remove. During the removal process, the bolt heads may become stripped; the nut or bolt heads may become rounded. If this occurs, they will need to be replaced. This may slow down the repair job, as sourcing new hardware may be time-consuming.In addition, while not required, installing new mounting hardware is recommended by many manufacturers when replacing ride control products.
Many MOOG® complete strut assemblies include lower mounting hardware such as strut mount bolts or pinch bolts.This supplied hardware meets OE specification, and combined with the MOOG complete strut assembly, provides ease of installation and a thorough repair.
